That was just FANTASTIC !!! Makes me want to go to Sebring for real, once racing is on again, hopefully in the not too distant future! 😃 .. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 ...
I was at Gooding & Co when the prototype Testa Rosa set a new auction record. I will be asking Bruce Meyer whether the Von Neumann Ferrari in this race is his car.
WOW, so happy ... I own the little Abarth Zagato, #80 driven by Harry E. Fry, former president of the Miami Sports Car Club! He made 2nd in his class and it is the first time that I see my car in a color movie, soooo cool! Check at 10'.22'' when Dr Fry arrives for pit stop! Thx for the Peterson Museum who finally honored 95 Years old Alex Yydias and published the video! Greetings from Switzerland, where the double bubble is back on the race tracks again! See also www.abarth750gtforum.com/copy-5-of-chassis . The very best to all of you fans out there, Renald.
Hello Renald. I worked closely with Phil and Derek in the mid 1990s. Derek was a teammate and Phil offered me wonderful, wise coaching as we campaigned our Ferraris in the states and Italy. Such a wonderful, sweet guy, Phil Hill. And your Zagato, well that is a very sweet car.
Interesting to see how reporting was done. I see Alex Xydias (of So-Cal Speed Shop fame) handling narration and production, a real gem!
A fascinating thing I've learned from watching these and working at the museum has been that racing is about a ton more than just going fast.
Love classic races

Hello everybody, from Stevie in Brisbane, Australia! So looking forward to seeing the end of the race! WHOO-HOO !!! 😅

It’s really cool to watch old races. & very informative 👏🏽Thank you.
That classic aerial view, added a different depth to the video.
History never dies
That was pretty damn good.
Cool!
P. P. S. And a special 'Hello!' to everyone at the Petersen !!! 😄
Gotta say patience is a virtue, for Aston and Shelby; '59, a banner year, certainly in France! 😃
Great year for racing

Sebring must have been gruelling; 12hrs of grinding behind the wheel. Its a shame Shelby had to retire midrace.
The Commentary had me at the edge of my seat 😴
Lots of kissing at the end of the race haha interesting that they raced on an almost pitch black track.
