I love walking those kind of spaces.. they are so peaceful without annoying manmade sounds
Your videos keep getting better. Thank you.
Lovely day!
Thumbs up. ENJOY... THE SIMPLE LIFE
With the angle of the sun I highly doubt that is rush hour. Just traffic. Neat place I did not even know it was there but then again when I was a kid we use to go crawfishing commercially so the swamp does not impress us but we do agree it is beautiful.
I want to visit there,perfect music🌿🌱🌾🌺🌴👍🏻
beautiful I love watching your vids and I'm a bit jealous of your free life you have. wish i could do what you do sometimes. can't wait to the next vid.
Making a dumpster "donation" tonight of a broken flat screen TV tonight off of St Charles and I look up and say "that's EVL"! What a small world.
Here's my Sunday area pick for you....down Jefferson Hhy before Causeway there is an all you can eat Sunday breakfast Buffet at the "Piccadilly" for $7.
I got your note! Small world!
I go to the dilly every Saturday in my green element. If I find EVL there you can believe that's going on my instagram.
I was to New Orleans once for a trade show, spent 4 days there. that is a place you just have to see. Bourbon St, you can drink while walking up the street, walk up bars. but there a list of no-nos. A set of beads will be a passport to something you down see every day. you have to have some hurricanes and go to "The Cats Meow"
Makes me want to visit there. Great job!
Cool channel! I only just discovered it!! Might have to have a binge watch
that's what I'm doing. 😊👍
rush hour lol I'll take it, I wish off hours traffic was that light in the bay area!
I love those swamp scenes. I guess it's something about Palmettos that attract black snakes. I have seen a black snake in the woods twice, where there were Palmettos every 5 to 10 feet. And I saw a black runner snake behind an apartment that I lived in and the snake hung around a Palmetto there, in the back yard.
Anyways, it looked like your video needed some contrast in it,..especially around the swamp area when you were first walking toward it and into it. Other than that everything was great. Those swampy scenes have been on my list of places to visit, once I get a van to travel and live in, because I'm a photographer and I want to capture some of the beautiful water birds in the swamp.
When I was 21 y/o I stayed for a few months with my brother when he lived just on the other side of the Mississippi River from Vicksburg, Ms., just into Louisiana, and he would take us fishing in some of the most alligator infested places in that area, and I will never forget seeing 3 black men that were fishing with a big net , and they would throw out from where they were standing in the water at waist deep, and in that area around that small lake there were some very beautiful water birds. I hope so much to go back and get some cool photos of them. And I would really, really love to get some photos of people net fishing again. That was so very cool.
Anyways, I enjoyed another one here, and I wish you to have happy and safe travels, with much peace. :-) ☮ 📷 ✌ ☺
.
Keep a keen eye on Moccasins as they can strike a fair distance from the water. 😄
Nice video! My friend and I went to this place on a whim last year. Pleasant surprise! I wanted to bring my drone in but was glad I decided not to. It's so peaceful and quiet in there.
Thanks! It really was a nice surprise. I wouldn't want to fly the drone in the park either, it would certainly disturb the wildlife!
I think you have to share and explore the place more like a free campsite etc and how to survive in the car, where you parking car at the night and then where you take a bath. Especially for free camper. Tks
Nice visit to that park! Parts of it reminded me on the one decent state park not too far from me... lots of trails, and some with wooden bridges.
It was a nice surprise!
I miss NOLA
Perfect timing! I needed something to watch! I always look forward to EVL.
If your a fan of the Disney movies "pirates" they have the front of the boat at the fish market down there.
great vid man! I'm in the New Orleans area. Would love to buy you lunch if you're around
An offer of such hostility shows you as a real New Orleanian! I'm Uptown and Extend the same offer.
HosPitality I meant!
Great Video as always-
For your upcoming question and answer video I have the following questions please;
1. Could you please show us your camera setup and explain what you have found the most useful feature of each camera?
2. Could you please show us the drone and maybe a small tutorial on how you fly it? It's amazing footage and seems to really fly far away.
3. I remember where you decided to customize your Honda Element but I was wondering if you ever gave a serious consideration to the Honda Odyssey? If you have any glimmer of information or opinion about the Odyssey for the purposes of road tripping without paying for the hotel, would love to hear it.
Thank you- as always, my favorite.
beautiful place. sure looked like prime alligator territory.....weren't you worried about meeting up with one?
I was looking for one all day! No luck though
What a nice vid dude! I love those driving parts when you're taking us with you on the passenger seat. The walk in the bayou was extremely well done et it's good to hear what are your impressions as you're living it. Snake shot were really cool (I hate snakes) as your drone shots, as always. First time of my life that I hear bass, percussions and dulcimer play together A-W-S-O-M-E!!! A little treasure. I love to watch your vids and I wait for them but I'm not jealous or envious. I'm retired so I'm old with no big financial means and this crappy body of mine would have some difficulties living full time in a Prius C Lolol! So, by far, I prefer to be a part of your vlogger life. I enjoy it very much. Thank you for that.
Ohhh is that all for rush hour in New Orleans? L.A is much more than that XD
Haha it's nothing compared to driving around L.A.! I was going inbound though, the outbound bridge was worse. It was around 4:30 PM.
Bummer no gators, snakes I can do without! 😨
alligators, snakes and less harmful critters
Hey man, I literally just stumbled onto your vlog. Im 30 and single, drive a honda element and have been considering doing exactly what your doing. How long will you be in louisiana, would love to buy you a cup of coffee and pick your brain. I admire your ambition and Im catching up on your vlogs. Excited to see what youve been doing.
Do you think you will upgrade to a larger sprinter van?
Maybe one day!
