Don't let any of the other stuff get to you. When I was your age I wouldn't be caught dead listening to music like this, I just wasn't and I was listening to Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynyrd and Nazareth and Boston and Kansas though if you think about it, those guys had some great singers. But you bring such a smile to my face and it brings joy to my heart to experience your performances. And I love the stuff you do with your sister as well.

I still get the shivers every time I hear Lucy perform this song. Even knowing in advance the powerful crescendo that is coming at 2:40 in song, it still floors me. Everything before that is like building a ramp, getting ready for the jump into hyper-drive... full forte, long holds, big runs, giant chorus, it takes the listener to another place and time. It works splendidly and we never want to come back down to Earth again. Keep us in this magical spot for just a little longer, we don't want it to end. Celine was 19 when David Foster discovered her. I wish David Foster had a chance to see Lucy perform this song. He would be awe struck just as we are.

Cliff, one thing I have noticed is Lucy's vibrato when under power really shines; as here during the full-on belt. Also, the walking alone on the beach is a real kicker for anyone feeling alone.

I really don't see that happening, and I hope I'm right. Though we don't know a great deal about her family background, it seems to me that the direction she has received in her childhood and youth is a firm, stable foundation. I believe she will build a beautiful edifice of adulthood upon that foundation. I pray the same for sweet Martha as well.

The original song is from Eric Carmen on a mélodie of a classical music composer : Rachmaninov ( Eric had to deal with a law suit about it) Long after , Celine did a cover which become the reference for this song. Lucy not only covered beautifuly the song but she is as good as Celine. ( For me even better than Celine) Love this girl 🥰❤️😉👍🤗 Not only Lucy is exceptional , her little sister Martha is awesome too. Their parents had to be praise too, to have raise so wonderfully these two angels.👍👍👍

Sorry Cliff but more about Lucy: When she performs (over just sings) Lucy really throws herself into the piece. It shows, as when she brings her hands to her chest, including herself in what she's is singing. That really makes the rendition personal. I love it. Good to see you back too.
I don't know what they are waiting for. Lucy, you should do a TV special in the USA, and a worldwide tour like Taylor Swift. Wear long beautiful dresses, act with class, and sing the beautiful classics that you have been singing. You will be a big hit! You're the best singer I've ever heard. Good luck.

Yes I have listen to/watched all of Lucy's songs at least 30 to 40 times and she still gives me the chills and goose bumbs
