love these little "life advice while doing a sick drift" videos 🤝
do you know hwat the name of the game is? I remember he made a video and talked about it but I dont remember what one.
@@stealth3122 drift 86
They really are incredible, you are right yakko
Atleast the algorithum is useful for getting Yakkocmn viewers to such great content!
I know, love these nasty drifts!
This video came at the best possible time for me. I messed up recently and now I just gotta let things happen, face the consequences and move forward. I suffer from depression, anxiety, and who knows what else due to things I’ve experienced out of my control. Ive always given bad reactions but now imma focus on me and controlling myself. Imma just build something to satisfied with and try to be happy again.
I thought I was the only in those shoes I'm gald to know that something like this was normal
@@rusty_cheech9724 I’ve come to learn that no matter how alone you feel in your suffering, that’s never the case.
I wish you good luck and the best dude
exactly the same for me.
Oh my, same! I have always reacted negatively but that's just a personality type and everyone reacts differently in situations. We're not wrong for being like that. After being ridiculed at two workplaces I rage quit from two jobs and turned into a hikikomori. Well, more like a hermit. I do go out, I workout, buy groceries, but I don't socialize at all. People have taken a piss out of me for way too long and now it's time to stand up for myself.
It isn't fun, no one plans to drop out of high school or move into dad's house in your 30s, but I needed a real-life block button and I don't feel bad for burning bridges behind me. To abandon things and disappear was the most liberating feeling ever!
you talking about how you were so tired of fighting the current is something I relate to very heavily. This past year has not been very easy, and the way you explained it, and the metaphor you used for it was wonderful, I love these videos so much, thankyou Mika
You got this!
you've seemingly nailed the concept of "dichotomy of control" from stoic philosophy without ever mentioning it
I love the visuals of an AE86 desperately trying to control the drift, succeeding sometimes, trying too hard or not hard enough when it fails. Also just the fact that I see it drifting makes it easier to digest the video. The music in the background is a great choice too, good stuff man, thanks for making that, I think it's really important
you upload this exactly on the day the girl I love decided to break up with me because of circumstances I had no control of.
I'm devastated and the "wake up, go back to sleep until 1pm and stay in bed for hours" bit is suprisingly spot-on.
some may think this message is obvious, but I really needed someone to tell me this simple truth now.
thanks for the heads-up, Mika, you made me feel a bit better.
it'll hurt for a while but slowly it will get better. take care of yourself man
I don't know how you do it Mika, but you have some disturbingly good timing with these (excellent) support videos.....I know it's probably coincidental timing, but videos like the "got legs?" shorts (got legs?, got arms?, bad anxiety bro, keep going, etc) and "you are doing your best" were uploaded around points where I was struggling with things in my life, and it was always a welcome bit of positive- now this is uploaded a few days after life *really* threw a wrench in things for us, and....it couldn't have been better timed. Thank you, I really needed that ^-^
trueee
The short version of my story is that somebody out there over the course of months successfully sabotaged my relationship with my girlfriend. It was a lot of nights of stress, fear, and paranoia. Like a ghost hovering over my shoulder attacking me, not directly, but through other people. Yesterday it really hit the fan and I just felt something snap. Im tired of fighting. Im tired of defending myself. Ive done nothing wrong but I dont have the energy to try and clear my name anymore.
I had the same, but it was almost successful, I barely got away from her sabotage after I stopped trying to justify myself for things I was completely uninvolved in.
Sorry to hear that your story didn't pan out the same way, man.
@@BirdEgg123 I appreciate that, man. Glad you managed to escape from all that.
A few days ago I was just thinking about the videos you made from “The dot” that I used to listen to back in 8th grade. I’m in my second year of college now and glad that you’re still making content.
dude thank you so much for this comment. i'm really humbled and grateful. i wish you the best dude :)
The usual has also long been one of my favorites to go back to and just rewatch. It still gets to me every time
I’m in junior high school now, I feel like I should listen to this. Thanks for the suggestion I guess
this video genuinely makes me feel a little less alone with my feelings of helplessness and lack of control, thank you
seeing this car and game again got me feeling a certain kind of way
it's called drift 86 if you wanna play it :)
@@mikasacus How did you get your game to look so retro looking?
My life really came down recently. Never in my life have I ever experienced such pain like what I'm going through rn but here I am trying to make it a bit better. Thank you for this vid, man, nothing has changed after I've seen it but your words have definitely sinked in and as you said, despite knowing this I still have a long way to go in order to master these feelings or in other words stop trying to master them.
you can do this dude
I BELVIN IN YOU!!!!!!! the Golden love of goodness for so much time around you my broski follow your dreams so much
Thank you Mika, i got Covid now and all my work in my office (im a banker) messed up plus my wife is pregnant now while having a severe cold too...im in total shambles and now im typing this with teary-eyed bro i never thought i really need this video
i seriously wish you the best and good luck dude. you got this
I feel like every couple months I need to relearn how to relax.
kinda needed this, thanku mika. also sick drifting btw
you again deserve the world and more for these truly helpful and heart-warming videos, i hope you get 1mil subs this year 🖤
So, go with the flow, roll with a blow, build a snowman if there's snow.
Gamer discovers stoicism
This is explained in that episode from adventure time, "The hall of Egress". Where Finn is trying as hard as possible to escape the dungeon, but every time he escapes he can't open his eyes because he simply goes back. The way he escaped was simply to go with the flow and not even try to escape anymore. "No more treads to follow, no more egress". Only than he found a way out.
Always love these videos. They come at a time I always need them, thank you.
You know, I was already aware of pretty much everything you said.
But it feels nice to have them reminded sometimes. Thanks.
A follow up to you are still doing your best.
I really needed this.Thank you!
i really love this channel
videos like this (and last year's too) are just. so good. to lie down, put on, and listen to
just taking a break and finding some small moments like this really help me, personally, so thank you
I needed this right now man, thank you.
Thanks for making another one of these videos. The messages are always simple but quite helpful
I really appreciate this channel, I'm just binging every video. Light hearted real talk with some humor and good advice mixed in. The depression review kept getting recommended to me so I finally watched it, and I'm so glad I did.
Last two years, I pushed myself to draw a lot, I managed to increase my drawing practice hours by a lot I had a lot of burnouts and artist blocks but at the moment I can sit down and work for hours easily, it was so extreme that I drew almost everyday those two years with only some breaks here snd there
This year though I decided to take a lot more breaks and draw when I feel like it and take it easy, just enjoy it more.
This year is my year of balance I guess and I decided I won't mind if I don't draw that many hours since it'll be my career for life.
I just wanted to say how I much love these videos and how they always come up in my life when I need it the most.
Most of the time when things go down I usually know what I need to do, but I hesitate a lot, that's when these videos come out, everything I already knew I have to do but I needed to hear from someone else in order to take courage to do it. Amazing video, I'm at rears right now, I love your content, keep it up.
You're definitely the creator in this platform that I like the most. Thank you for bringing us this relatable type of content that speaks from the heart.
I love your stuff man. Looking forward to the next album
Thank you very much
Love those chill drifting car videos that you make, very heartwarming
3 minutes in and this is already a beautiful video, thank you for continuing to improve my and many others lives Mika, you’re a great person.
I hope everyone here is doing well in this scary times.
man thank you so much I really needed this rn
This video was honest to god the one thing i looked forward to the most this year. This is really what i needed, since the last year was certainly not the greatest to me, however I'm getting the feeling that things are starting to better themselves and these videos help me realize that.
Thank you Mika :)
I needed this. Thank you
thank you so much for making this video. knowing i’m not alone with feeling these feelings it means so much.
thank u mika. i rly appreciated hearing this
Thank you so much Mika, this really came at the perfect time. Wish you an amazing 2022
Each episode of this yearly series is really pleasantly stabilising
I love your videos so much, man
Been through this sort of stuff in the beginning of summer last year, and all that you saying is so true
💖💖💖
thanks mika, really needed this : )
Even though I went through my own trials to come to this realization on my own, it’s always soothing to hear someone else say it instead of me. I’ve heard no one around me properly say this, so thanks.
Mikasacus when did you become a stoic my guy.
Thank you Mika, I really needed to hear this right now ❤
This video came out exactly when I needed it, thank you Mika
"Promise me you will not spend so much time treading water and trying to keep your head above the waves that you forget, truly forget, how much you have always loved to swim."
This is very important, I'm thankful for learning it early in life. Even nowadays I notice things that I want to be in control over but are simply impossible to be, the more you notice these things, the better you get at letting go, and that's when things start to move and you get progress. Focus on what you can really do, trust yourself and go for it without fear. You are more powerful than you can imagine.
Thanks for the video mika, that's good information for everyone.
Giving up is awesome, would reccommend, also been through swimming against the riptide for a lot of years, and once i accepted surrender I felt a peace I haven't had felt in 5 years, sweet sweet surrender, thanks for this! Happy to see more people realizing these kinda things, many people fight the currents and they do accomplish it, eventually, so it's really rare to see these kinda advices! Thank you!
Thank you for this!
just love these videos, i sometimes go back and rewatch it because i feel like crap, and i feel better afterwards honestly it might just be a little video, but it means a lot, and I'm really glad u made these, bc life is tuff for me atm. I genuinely hope i make it out of this.
this is something I've believed in and expressed in my actions for years, but I've never heard it articulated this well. thanks for putting it simple and inspiring, mika. i admire all your work.
You can't control the curves in the road but you can control your sick drifts
This video came up to me at the exact moment I needeed it. Thank you.
really needed this rn. thanks mika
Whenever I feel stressed out, I remember to revisit this video and it always helps me out. Thank you Mika
Thank you man you posted this today man
Thank you so much for this man.
I genuinely can't thank you enough for this video mika. I've been going through hell these past couple months with everything going on around me. Your videos have helped me a lot in the past but this video is one that i can relate to specifically with right now. And it's been hard to realize what i really need is to try and control little bits instead of trying and failing to control it all. :)
this is the come up dude
@@mikasacus thanks for making the content you do dude :) i appreciate you
These videos actually help me out, just to have a down to earth dude speak facts, really gives me a different perspective than listening to anything else, thank u man
i really needed this thank u mika
this.. related to me in such a personal way and the thoughts and experiences you give about youself as a person is speaking to me on a deep level. Thank you for your encouraging video, i hope that we all find a way foward together in this place, bless you and everyone and happy new year
Man thanks for that Vid. Needed this.
One of the realest UA-camrs out there!
Love your Reviews btw!
This is insanely helpful, Ive been having a tough time with family issues and I think I have to realize that sometimes I just cant help them. I have to let em solve stuff among themselves. Thank you, truly.
Thank you. I needed this. I had an assignment due soon in a course I already have a hard time in, and college is tough. But I made the mistake of not controlling myself and spending time towards it to make sure it was done right, and now I realize I screwed myself and it CAN'T be done right. The outcome is no longer in my control, but I can control the future past this.
just broke my arm in a freak sports accident but i wont let it get me down, I can control my reaction to this setback. Thanks man!
Thank you for this man. You helped me a lot. I finally did some of the things that i have been trying to escape for some time. If i didnt watch this, i probably would be in the same situation doing nothing. Thank you so much.
Australian here, Thankyou for the beautiful rip tide analogy, pretty perfect way of putting the way I feel about things into words. Thanks as always Mikasacus
Moral of the story, dont go swimming in Australia
Amazing! I love it, I learned this over the last few years as well. Bravo, great advice!
I love your videos man. Ur super wise and help so many people with your videos. They’re all so interesting, and some of them change lives bro.
thank you for this video mika
this is just pure gold, just amazing. Really appreciate you and I want you to know that.
when I clicked this video i really didn't know just how much I needed this. Thank you for making this.
thanks for recognizing how much the rest of that lap meant to me
really appreciate the video
like many other people here already said
this wont change whats happening in my life but it showed me that there is not a reason to stop trying and ur speech at the end actually did make me cry and i m normaly not the most sentimental person
thx for the video my man
Thank your for posting this, sometimes life gets hard, but that’s how it is, love ya man.
I really needed this video, thanks man.

Bro this video is absolutely amazing thank you for being an absolutely amazing human being helping us get through our struggles In life
just reading the title alone hit me pretty hard ngl
You have no idea how much this video helped me
Thank you for making this
I've had to come to realise this as well recently. Thank you.
This is so good. Thank you 💕
I needed this, thank you
thank you mika, been having a rough couple months. this helped alot. flow with the current.
I wish I could hug you back. I needed this video this morning. Thanks for being a friend Mika
your videos are incredibly helpful, other people just say “change ur mind set” “calm down, read a book” or something else that doesn’t help at all, but you always show people the different perspective of life. You make it easier to keep going by giving actually helpful advice. Thank you!
I don't know what planets aligned to get this published on this specific day, but I'm glad I saw this the day I needed it. I love your work and the chill atmosphere. Keep up the good work
Seneca, but he got mad drifts
Thank you for helping me take a breather. Your videos are very helpful on nights like these.
thank you mika. this video really helps
Bro, I really needed to hear this message right now
Sincerely thank you
i completely love every video in this style you make. you make the kind of videos someone needs and noone else does. you kind of inspire me to keep on going and to do the things i love and even make youtube videos that i kind of use like a diary similiar to yours. i feel like you should get a lot more views here because a lot more people need to hear what you have to say. thanks
Really needed this rn, this and your depression video have just been so relatable to my self and my art and I just wanted to say thank you, and that if I ever find the will to draw again I’ll make you some fan art 💜
LOVE THE CHANNEL AND LOVE THE MUSIC!
I felt a lot of what you said mika. I worry about my self and my worth, like these last few years i haven't done anything that would be considered amazing, but at least i can say i tried and grown a bit. It feels a lot like i am floating in a current but the problem is i don't know if the place i want to swim back to is a place i WANT to swim back too. I want to believe that there's a place for me somewhere, maybe even over the horizon of the cold deep blue, just out of sight. I want to believe i can make it. anyway, thank you mika for making these videos. they make me feel like im not alone in this journey. I hope 2022 treats you well and i hope to see more of whatever it is you create.
you can make it :) trust yourself
Thank you sir I needed this video
I FEEL THE SAME !
Thanks man, I needed to hear this
