+Vectric Ltd That would be great .. I wish there will be a video about how to practically slices a 3d model with large thickness .. any advices or tips on that matter would be great .. I'm using your trial version to teach many CNC operators here in Iraq .. they only use Artcam and never heard of your software! I've been spreading the Aspire knowledge among my people for 6 months now .. personally I consider it as the most perfected 4-axis cad/cam software there's. . and I started to develop special gadgets with LUA for it .. Thank you for the masterpiece really !
1. Running a 3D roughing tool path twice means machining a lot of air and is very inefficient. I really wish Vectric would introduce more efficient toolpaths. 2. In this case, referencing from the material is a mistake as you are assuming the material is perfectly square and to length in all directions.
I have trouble aligning things using this method. The jig doesn't really work if the stock has warped at all. Everyone says to use the dowel pin method but how would I apply that to this workflow?
If your stock is warped, You can make an operation to square three sides, top and both sides, then flip it upside down and deck the top. Just be careful how you clamp the material down.
Thank you Vectric team, You're the best !
+Ali Alshekarchee Thank you for your comment Ali, more videos on the way.

How to create this kind of model from scratch to finish in vectric aspire....

Can we please get 4 sided in Vcarve pro?
For those of us that don't have a rotary 4th
@@billyjoelization This is essentially 4 sided machining...
i like better how cut3d do 4 sides , more easy, less time and semi-auto and tabs 1 time, with limitations, of course, but better.
I'd bet cash money that curve on his staff fails to cut or breaks off
