uMAXit Football awesome mate! Jardim really is an interesting coa to talk about because of how he manages to get the best out of his squad, in a coherent but realistic way
uMAXit Football Bob Paisley's Liverpool please
nice! could you do something on david beckham? Like how he rose in his career his downs in ac milan etc etc?
F1z we have passed your request onto our production team - Neil
uMAXit Football Thanks
Man what a squad that Monaco team was.
Guardiola and transfers, I'm aboutta end this man's whole career
Leonardo Jardim is absurdly underrated. He made Monaco champion with psg on the league always been successful in all clubs he coached and most impressive for me turned a 7 place Sporting Cp team into a title contender in a year with almost no meaningful transfers.
I just had my cup of coffee and you uploaded. i can hear your soothing voice with the relaxing sound of the piano in the background. Bless your soul
Joe will be thrilled at that - Sam
I am!
- Joe
uMAXit Football *wonderful work*
2:14 that falcao drawing lol
The Silva one is scary. 1:07
when you see a pretty girl on the sidewalk
felix winchester what was mbappe doing?
Chester "more predatory and less creative"
Lmfao the Fabinho drawing
Such a shame that everyone left in the space of 18 months and the team being now on the verge of relegation.
Poor ownership at it's absolutes.
It's now the 2018/19 season and just look how that team has been decimated:
Mbappe
Fabinho
Silva
Bakayoko
Mendy
Lemar
All gone. Imagine being a Monaco supporter lol That must be heart breaking.
moutinho as well
R69NIX if I were a Monaco supporter I’d be more upset about the dross that has replaced those six incredible players
lol true. Such a shame. Let's see what Henry can do with this team. I wish him well.
It’s Borussia Dortmund all over again.
R69NiX didn’t go so well...
I suggested this! thank you so much for taking it up!
You provide the highest quality of football tactics content on UA-cam. Keep up the amazing work :)
Thanks Rohit! Spread the word of uMAXit - Sam
uMAXit Football please do a video on the first Laurent blanc psg team
God , I love this channel !
Im Zamf *i know...i love it too*
Im Zamf who doesn't
Wow, amazing to look back at this video. So much has changed since then.
I think that the most precious and exciting man at Monaco is Jardim. He has a truly remarkable ability to adapt his teams, his systems, his players...
When he signed his contract, Monaco was a big money club and promised to continue in that way. But in that same transfer market, they sale and loaned their big players, and they never bought again as ambitiously as they did for Falcao, James, Moutinho...
Jardim had to adapt to the evolution of his club, that suddenly decided to build on promising youngsters.
And he manages them like a very few does. He knows how to give them what they need, when they need it. He knows how to place them on the field, and sometimes how to replace them (Fabinho for example, but also other players just for a game, or a period).
And there's something that we don't talk a lot about, but I find absolutely astonishing how he changes the team. There's only two years ago, Monaco was known for it's incredible defensive solidity ! Look at what they're doing now, with the same manager... (but not with the same players, that's true, as they change a lot and quickly at Monaco)
Anyway, nice video !
And sorry for my english, french football fan here !
Nimajneb Something You should see how well he did as his previous. I would've taken him at Chelsea but we got Conte instead. Both are amazing managers regardless
Yeah good idea, I heard that he did a great job in the portuguese league !
Ahah Conte is not bad too, all the more so as he has a bigger experience than Jardim.
Leonardo Jardim is absurdly underrated. He made Monaco champion with psg on the league always been successful in all clubs he coached and most impressive for me turned a 7 place Sporting Cp team into a title contender in a year with almost no meaningful transfers.
Even the work he has done in Saudi is impressive. Don't get me wrong, it's not a major league, but it's difficult for coaches to win over there with unique challenges.
Já vai preparando o vídeo das táticas dele ganhando a Liberta desse ano. SRN 🔴⚫
flamenguista (vulgo eu) é rápido d+ kkkkk
I hope they can win the Champions League, would like to see another club win for a change. Either them or Atletico Madrid.
thegreatcalvinio Buffon :)
thegreatcalvinio I wished the final was Monaco vs Juventus :(
Black German me too :(
Juve deserve it as well. They've been brilliant this year and I wouldn't consider them a "classic" UCL-winning side. Plus, if any man deserves to win the UCL it's Buffon. Forza Juve
I just hope real don't win. Personally I think atletico really deserve a win.
Thank you so much Umaxit Football and listening to us (and me). Great video!!
As I thought of it, you uploaded it!
Another great analysis!
One of the best attacking teams I've seen in a while. Their wide play is insane, brilliant crossers of the ball too.
great video. i was waiting fot this.
Estou aqui pq o Mister foi embora ⚫🔴
Se esse técnico vier é só sucesso de novo
Parece aquele treinador que ganhou o mundial com o Flamengo
Ancelotti's AC Milan, Lyon team that won 6/7 straight league titles, Juventus late 90s please
Do tactics tested on this
Svetlana Ilic not to worry scheduled for Saturday 6th May - Neil
Yes thank you
Please show us the tactic behind switching to a three man defence....
Few years ago Wigan Athletic did it to beat relegation....this season, Chelsea, Weder Bremen, Arsenal switched to a three man defence system...and they are reaping benefits....
This channel deserves 1 Mill subscribers. Keep it up guys 👍
Thanks! - Danny
As usual, a great video again. You guys are really really really amazing.
please...do the rise and fall of Deportivo La Coruna!!!
wussup12345 duh-buh-u
Can't wait for the whiteboard extra on this
Next week! - Danny
Just found this channel and wow - love it already - definitely subscribing to this👏🏼
Top man Connor! - Danny
It will be amazing to watch them take on Juventus, the team with the best defence of the 4 semi-finalists.
Keep them coming. So useful.
We will Mike. We will - Danny
Heynckes' treble winning Bayern 2012/13.
was thinking the same thing
p.s he was effectively sacked and pushed aside for a certain other manager. who went on to bore everyone in his 3 seasons
LucaEnzo as opposed to a guy who favours players past their prime and can't manage the young(er) players so well
LucaEnzo I thought he Retired?
Lil Witwicky what are you talking about? Anchelotti? even if so what has that got to do with pep doing nothing with a record breaking bayern side?
Just brilliant! Every week these gents never let us down, I know they will get around to all our requests In end. Top notch whether It new school or old school tactics, I say keep It coming gents 👍🏾⚽️🏐
Thanks Godfrey!
- Joe
Good job mate, i appreciate your work. Helps me a lot on FIFA lol 👊🏼👊🏼

Thanks Joe! - Danny
This Chanel is a godsend
channel
Alex Stewart and Joe Devine really know their tactics so intriguing
Fascinating video. Such a unique system
This was a scintillating video.
Lovely stuff here. That's why i come to you guys.
killercaos123 pleasure to have you - Neil
killercaos123 what is the meaning of scintillating? (my first language is not english)
+wasi cupido budiarto
sparkling or shining brightly.
or
brilliantly and excitingly clever or skillful.
The team was so good that biggers clubs came for mbappe , Silva , bakayoko , fabinho , Mendy and Sidibe
Jarrrrdiiim alhilal 💙💙💙🇸🇦🇸🇦
Maybe a compressed video on the ideological evolution at Juventus from Conte's exit to Allegri's third season managing the club.
Can you do a Tactics Explained video on Senol Gunes's besiktas right now? They have done well in the past two years both domestically and internationally
Can you make a video about Atalanta 2016/2017 tactics?...They are on the fourth place so there must be smth special in their game :)
Please do Ottmar Hitzfield's tactics for the 00/01 season or Jupp Heynckens' tactics for the 12/13 season
Wish you touched on the defensive weaknesses of the system but all in all, another great vid!!!
fully unconcentrated me too. From my admittedly limited memory they seemed to have an amazing defence a couple of seasons ago (the year they played Arsenal in the Champions league). Would be interesting to know how/why they went completely the other way (ie good attack but bad defence)?
I agree, definitely feel like they were more resolute then and played a flat line back four but with the RB Jallet overlapping a lot
can you do Leicester's premier league winning side?
Love the vids! Would be great to see Kevin Keegen's entertainers from 95/96 in future!
Song at the end?
I hope they make it to the final. Would be fantastic if they can hold on and go all the way.
What a great channel
Appreciate the support! - Danny
Exciting to see Monaco play CL. They have a great challenger coming up. Hope they manage to beat Juve
Beautiful team. Monaco 2017 will be remebered.
Flamenguista é Foda...só vim pq vai pro Mengão
What about defensive aspect? How do they defend? Especially the 2 strikers
do Valverde's Barcelona, Man city 2017/18 and Raneri's Leicester
Great video! That drawing of falcao hasn't done him any favours lol.
Great video yet again, can you make one for spurs's recent surge in the pl
Thanks pal, we can keep it in mind - Danny
mbappe was bagging in the CL ko stages and then going to college the next day
This is for the people that talk shit on the 4-4-2.
It's still a relevant formation, 2 of the 4 best teams in the champions league use it.
How about now idiot?
@@leskipbayless3280 This was 4 years ago. 4-4-2 is still being used, Real Madrid 1st in La Liga right now. It may not be the most used tactic, but it just a number at the end of the day, it highly depends on the type of player and it (usually) doesn't matter where you make them play as a manager.
Hope Jardim comes to Manchester United
Leonardo Jardim, vem para o Mengão...o Mister te indicou 🔴⚫🔴⚫
Vamos ver oq nos espera ❤️🖤
Please do Spalletti's Roma with the 3-4-2-1 / 4-2-3-1 adaptible tactic system. They call it the "chameleon" ;)
Can you make a brief video of the 2002 World Cup scandal?
hadn't seen 4-4-2 since when premier league clubs used them in the 2000's. This is a very fluid and aggressive style. @uMaXit why can't they sustain the rate? you didn't give the reason. Is it that the other teams will learn to counter their style of attack? Amazing video thanks.
Ana, we talked about this a little bit in the follow-up podcast which is out next Monday (1st May).
- Joe
top stuff yet again
How do you produce these pieces? Are they animated through something like after effects or done by hand?
but where's the defence scheme?
how will the striker work with defence? both drop deep like atletico madrid or just one?
or both stay up high?
Please do one of spurs this year and how they play 4231
If this squad didn’t get broken up they would be tearing every team in Europe apart
Vem pro mengão professor
tactics explaines 4-4-2 diamond liverpool at 2013/14
Kerem Er They didn't achieve anything?
Ro Na bro the thing is football is about passion and entertaintment you don't need to win trophys it just a stawberry on a cake.
Kerem Er I agree but a lot of these people have forgotten that or they are to young to understand. Some idiots believe that Messi is superior to Ronaldinho prime.😂
the tactic heavily relied on suarez brilliance
Can you please do a video on Jose Mourinho's current Man Utd side? They're on I think 20 matches unbeaten in the league.
Jack X79 He did one a couple of months ago
Jack X79 we've done a MUFC 07/08 & a Mourinho at Inter Milan - Neil
Jack X79 have 10 players in the box defending
and count on de gea to save u
Just noticed, that team has been insane
You forgot that they are in Cup's semifinal. So they can still make the first treble of France.
(Same for Juventus, but would be the second of Italy)
geminix365 no way, i dont see them taking on Juve, let alone Real Madrid in the final
They already lost in the cup against PSG like half a week ago btw.
And it was just a possibility. Juventus is much more likely of getting the treble. I mean.
Final against Lazio. They have the league in their pocket. And they just have to win a final against RM.
While they received 0 goals in 3 matches against the teams with most goals scored of Europe...
I would love them to win cl so they get more money and can be a big money club. Maybe in a couple of years they might dominate french football XD
Depends on how many of the youngsters stay
Andrew H lol
i hope that, apart from bakayoko who's "leaving for chelsea", Mónaco is able to keep their squad
Would it be possible to do an FM17 tactics tested video on Monaco?
It will be coming! - Danny
I know yous do tactics for FM but any chance you could do them for Fifa??
please do one on Atlanta United soon.
It’s such a shame this team got trashed by transfers. What a team
The thing is I don't know if expected goals statistics account for all that potentially leads to goals. It seems to me that superb transcendent shooters may be able to produce more goals from similar shots than other players, furthermore it would appear to me that there are certain situations that should lead to more goals being scored than others, such as one on one with the goalkeeper in the box and empty net situations. So I have to wonder if Monaco's unnatural conversion rate is because they are exploiting situations that might yield more goals combined with giving good players those shooting attempts. After all you mentioned Barcelona and one thing I know about them is that over the last decade they have a very good ability at getting the ball to good players in good places to shoot: they don't just hammer the ball into the box and hope for the best. Though at this point Kylian Mbappe doesn't have enough work in his career for us to know if he is an unnaturally good shooter, so we might not be able to prove this. But if Monaco keeps this above average conversion rate for several seasons I would want to ask why, they might know something we don't.
Looking back on this team what a fucken side it was my god
Has this channel done anything on MLS teams?
Who's come here after hearing about him possibly coming to united? Who also thought about our front three Lukaku, Sanchez and Martial/Rashford when he describes Monaco's front 3 lol
robert moreno the new coach, has really improved the side now
When ru going to do Tottenham tactics?
One thing that you didn't focus on is their defensive vulnerability. I would like to see the disadvantages of the tactics deployed
Most entertaining team I've watched this year.
M Azzopardi thank you - Neil
My favourite team of all time
I want them to win the champions league and the ligue 1 this season, they maybe they'll be able to keep their best players in the summer and be amazing again next season
Whoa!!! Monaco is a great club because they've gone down both of those avenues.
If only more clubs go down this route of academy/buying young talents instead of splashing heavily. I hope in the long term if they continue like this they will win more than PSG , so in Ligue 1 it will be Monaco(youth/academy) vs PSG(Spent heavily)
Lil Witwicky Well, ligue 1 is growing.
There is Marseille too who has an American new owner and they want play CL every season and they should investing a lot like they did last winter with Payet.
Lille too has a new owner and will copy the Porto model and Marcelo Bielsa will be the next coach.
Nice is interesting too with young players and teams from young to Professional team which playing with same tactics, same style (barca model).
And Lyon who is one of the best former club in Europe, a great stadium and chinese money.
Tô aqui pq o mister saiu!
When are you going to upload a tactics video about Zidane's Real Madrid?
+mastersuljiman we are planning a preview of the UEFA Champions League Final, which will incorporate a Juventus & Real Madrid analysis - Neil
