This was SO SO SO helpful, thank you!!! I have a 5 month old and was looking to switch from the car seat to the regular seat (my brother already has this stroller for his two, and put in the adapter for me before baby was born, so I didn't see how to do it), and I had completely forgotten the seats could both turn around, lay all the way back, and that the canopies and footrests were all adjustable. THANK YOU! 4 minutes and I feel very prepared to make any adjustments we need for the next year or two, even once we convert it to a double!

Thank you! This helped me add my second seat attachment since I had no clue what I was doing lol. I never used the city select as a single since I got it after my second babe. I jsit wish this video was transparent about the weight of this stroller. I would never have used this as a single stroller since it’s so big and heavy. With that being said as a double stroller I haven’t tried one that was light and small. Anyway, can’t wait to try mine out!

what are the zips on the canopy for?
Can you add a video to wash the fabric. I can’t figure out how to get the plastic backing out... or do I leave it in?
I bought this but the seat doesnt go flat , it stays with the feet part up, its beautiful tho and the wheels are like butter, just wish the seat could have been flattened for smaller babies

The hand brake and the wheels are similar but besides that it's different. The Mini GT is more similar to the City Mini
We folded the frame for transportation but now can not get it to lock back into the usable position
Up to how many pounds and what height will this accommodate? Those seats look like they’d be too small/short for a toddler. Is there a different available seating configuration or option for toddlers? Thank you
Hello! The City Select was discontinued last year and replaced with the City Select 2. For the City Select 2, the weight capacity for each seat is 40 lbs or 40" tall. It's a modular seat meaning the seats can flip forwards and backwards making any configuration that fits your needs! To see it in action, watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/iabG7GRdrBc/v-deo.html

Hey! There is a recline button on the back of the seat that looks exactly like the one on the handle. Your canopy may be covering it. You would squeeze that button and recline as needed! I have peg-perego 4-35 nido care seat and for some reason the seat does not fit the adapter?? The seat will not click in?? Help?
Does the Nuna Pipa Infant car seat click into the Universal adapter on city select? also where can i buy the universal adapter?

The basket should come fully assembled. We recommend reaching out to Baby Jogger because your stroller may be defective. ❤️

The company Baby Jogger recommends you do not use a reclined position for infants, most parents would just use an infant carseat or bassinet

This is a very dated video…which means that the adapters are not considered universal anymore. However, they still have adapters for the Chicco and the Graco over at Baby Jogger’s website babyjogger.com

Can the toddler sit on any seat or a specific seat is recommended??
The original seat and the second seat are the exact same. They can fit on the lower or higher position, as long as you have the lower adapters for the lower position.

You need adapters in order to use a seat and car seat at the same.

The car seat adapter that you will need depends on the type of car seat that you have. At the bottom of the listing for the City Select we have a list of compatible car seats linked to the appropriate adapters: www.babycubby.com/baby-jogger-city-select-single-stroller-black-frame.html (at the bottom of the page of this link in the grey box it says "compatible car seats" )
Also keep in mind if in the future you get the second seat kit it will come with those second seat adapters, so you will end up with additional adapters if you buy them separately now and get the second seat kit later.

What is the color of the stroller in this video? I have twins on the way, if I wanted to attach two car seats does the car seat adapter fit in both the top and bottom? So order two car seat adapters?

Since you are having twins we would recommend buying the City Select bundle that includes the Second Seat Kit (the kit includes the second seat and the adapters). Once you have the second seat kit, you can have 2 car seats on the stroller. You will need the car seat adapter for your car seat model (you can find those available models at the bottom of the City Select listing). After purchasing two of these you can connect the first car seat adapter in the top slots of the City Select and the second one into the second seat adapters at the bottom of the City Select.

EVERYTHING MOMLIFE From the bend of the chair to the end of the frame of the seat it is 10 inches. The feet can hang farther down than that.
Can you please confirm if two infant car seats (specifically the Nina pip) would fit in the city select? And would they only be able to face one direction or can they be opposite directions? Thanks!
It can accommodate two car seats, and yes, the Nuna Pipa will work. The adaptors are only made to face one direction though.

The Baby Cubby I have the Britax endeavors which fits the same as the B safe but the second seat up on the upper will just NOT let her have any leg room. Is this normal? The infant seat sort of interferes with the seat. Thanks!!!
Jennifer - The great thing about the City Select is that it is so versatile. You can put your car seat in either position as well as play with the direction the stroller seat is facing. We recommend playing with your configurations and maybe turning the stroller seat to face away from your infant. Unfortunately leg space is limited with the use of any infant seat on this stroller.

This one is the 2016. We no longer have them in store, but we do have the new 2019's that we are obsessed with!(: They are not too different. Can you fold it up with the car seat adapter and the seat?
It depends on your car seat and your adapters. The car seat adapter shown in this video no. Any bar adapter that goes across your stroller will not work. There are other adapters though that just click in on each side and as long as your second seat is facing outward, the City Select will fold. Just keep in mind the adapters may stick out a bit.

No, the City Mini GT is not a modular stroller. It only faces forward.
Is this better than the jogger gt2?

I was comparing thejogger gt2 and the bob revolution for jogging and an all purpose stroller, but the city select would be perfect for walks around stores or the mall where it's not really outdoors. anyways any opinions and advice is appreciated thank you
