Hi JoAnn I mean Wade, my mother was a seamstress and she had a lot of fabrics, buttons and bows. You can sell it for a profit. Here in Iceland fabric as all merchandise is expensive. Wade I wish you, your family and your sweet mamma to be well and keep safe. Schools, coffee houses, restaurants etc are shutting down. Many are getting sick. I just came back from Arizona and everything seemed pretty normal. But here in Iceland situations are not too good. It’s very cold here and a lot of snow. Unusual at this time of the year. Cov19 thrives on the cold. The virus doesn’t tolerate heat very well....bless you, Margaret n Iceland

I had three children all under the age of four, faces became bums and, vice versa LOL!!!!! I remember that my eldest loved the Barney song and we sang it together, now he sings it to his own children and I love him for it, such a great good man just like you Wade, keep on singing, it makes my heart glad xx

Love your enthusiasm and energy. You’re amazing to still be reacting the same when opening the last box as you were when opening the first. Thanks for not whining about your exhaustion. Obviously this person was pretty much a hoarder as there was so little organization to the bins, just random my snatched stuff. And so many bins had useless crap and so few items. You must share how you market all that fabric. You’re a brave and fun person.
With all those hundreds of bins and stacks of fabric, she could have sold them and bought a house. Good luck. You’re an entertaining guy.

Hey Wade I’ve seen a couple of back braces in some of the sheds you’ve opened. Use them for your back it will only last you so long - when it’s gone it’s gone. Take care now. Also please take one of those back packs you’ve found and put a few knives into it, some band aids, hydrogen peroxide, cotton wool buds, water, a few hand towels - for the sweat, and a box of gloves. Keep this in your truck and check your stock in the bag before you leave home. You are now a professional delver into the unknown zone.😉

The reason I heard people take personal stuff is because all the paper products and all the stuff that you just assume is trash and or in the personal stuff there could be envelopes with gift card or envelopes with birthday cards that still have the money in it or baby shower wedding and cards got stuck in there in the money is still in it

47:02. The wooden spoon threads are old and some people do collect them, usually for craft projects. Thread has come on plastic spoons since the 80's.

I would love some of that fabric!! All the comments on how this woman lost her home and money... I think people need to understand several things... We don't know how long she accumulated items to have so much. We don't know if she had a very well paying job then lost it. We don't know if she had to pack in a hurry and just started throwing things in tubs to move. We don't know all the facts. I feel for her but I think Wade did more than he had too by giving back things he didn't have to. I think that says a lot about his character. My only question is where is all her furniture? This much stuff indicates to me she had a well set up home and surely she had furniture. I can only guess that she either sold that to get by. Love that you showed us everything in the unit and shared her letter. Thank you!
A lot of buyers find cash in the personal stuff so i hope you look through envelopes, holiday cards , inside books etc.

I enjoyed watching this series of videos on this particular locker. You will have plenty of stuff to sell at your super giant garage sale AND you have plenty to sell on ebay and poshmark. You definitely will make money on this unit. I bet all the fabric will sell better than you think if you put it into lots for ebay. And all that music in that locker...WOW! You could do a "music mystery box" on ebay for all those CD's without cases.

Please! Get a back support belt and use your knees to lift! For your back, get some roll-on Outback or Deep Blue Rub. (It comes in a roll-on, too)
If you can identify some of that fabric as being vintage, from the '60s or '70s, it will sell for good money on eBay. Character fabrics also do well so check them out before you sell it all at your thrift sale.
