Hello! Your garden is so breathtaking! Thank you for sharing it with us 😊 I was wondering where you have bought the tulip bulbs? I’d like to start planting some 🌷
Thank you Judith! Most of them I purchased from TulipWorld online and a small percentage from Big Box stores. Which zone are you in? You need to plant them in Fall to get Spring blooms as Tulips need cold stratification to give you blooms. You may still be able to get some from TW that’s pre chilled already. If not, remember to pick them up in Fall and plant in Fall too. Thank you for watching! You can enjoy my blooms until you get yours.🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for your reply ☺️ I’m not sure why but I thought tulips didn’t keep flowering year after year. Now I know 😂 I’m in zone 9. Thank you for teaching me something new, I’ll definitely enjoys yours for now though 🌷💝
Beautiful tour gets me more excited for spring. Was your cleome started indoors or winter sowing?
Thank you! I started those cleome seeds indoors.Love them so much. I got them in more colors. They were so easy to do. (white, purple, pink and white combo) My sweet neighbor up the road shared them with me. I’ll be starting them soon.
I don’t think I got any germination last year. I hope you do a video of them when you start them. I can use pointers on them. Right now I have them in the fridge ( per the back of the seed package).
Hi! Loving the garden! It’s simply beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing as always!!!
How long does it take the lupine to bloom …. does it take a whole year to bloom in the winter sowing method?
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 😊 Most seed packets say they take 365 days to bloom, but from my experience that wasn’t the case. Those in the video I started from seeds inside by soaking them in warm water overnight, and kept them next to the window and I got blooms the same year ( late Spring/early Summer). Last year I purchased some seeds from Etsy and put them in the Winter Sowing method and I got blooms, the plants were smaller though but they bloomed. I’m doing more again. Thanks for watching!🩷
@@alexandrinavictoriagarden583 always enjoy!!!
Always enjoy!
coneflowers from seed or plant?
Some were from plants and some I did from
seeds using the Winter sowing method.
Are ranunculus hardy in zone 6B/7A? Or you dig them up in the fall?
Hello, they are like Dahlia, Hardy from zone 8. I’m
in the same zone as you. However, my Dahlias comes back. I put extra mulch over them. I didn’t dig up my Ranunculus. I’m hoping they will perform the same as the Dahlias. I’ll be starting more soon. They are worth it. I fell in love with them. I’ll be posting the video this week as I recorded when I did them. Thanks for watching!🩷
@ thank you for the reply. OMG, now I need ranunculus bulbs too! 😁
