      @@andore8639 Zappa wäre kein "Mastermind" ohne seine Leute.
      Die "Rolling Stones" sind auch nicht die "Rolling Stones" ohne Charly Watts. Kunstwerke die beschädigt sind sind keine Kunstwerke mehr, sondern nur noch beschädigte Kunstwerke. Genauso ist es mit Zappa und seinen Musikern. Fehlt auf der Bühne einer seiner Stammmusiker, ist die Musik von Zappa eine ungewöhnliche, nicht mehr typisch oder charakteristisch.
      Zappa allein auf der Bühne mit seinem Gitarren-Spiel wäre schnell langweilig geworden. Zappa mit all den erstklassigen Musikern, die bei Zappa mitspielten, machten Zappa einzigartig, denn jeder seiner Musiker war einzigartig... 🎈🦉

    first time i heard this piece was on "Everything is healing nicely". Thought it was some piece from Zappa's last years, 1990's, what a DELIGHT this is

    this is hevily influented by Bulgarian music. Classical interpretations of tradional folklore. Sth similar - Petko Stainov - Ratchenitsa or Pancho Vladigerov. Zappa was genius of mixing styles.

    I've been a Zappa fan since '73 and have never heard this until today...AND I first heard about it via the cover by Fireworks Ensemble!

    This is I believe the version on the Piquantique bootleg album Ive been listening to for nearly 20 years...this I reckon the best version of this musical piece
