Putting some blue tape on the back of your pedals before attaching the Temple Audio plates will protect them in case you ever need to remove the plates. Otherwise, you would require Goo Gone and 15 minutes of scraping with a guitar pick
Fun video. Using the HX Stomp XL as well in 2024. Will be going direct (since the Stomp is balanced out just got a short TRS to XLR cable) and also using IEMs. Need to tame the spikey highs which weren't evident tweaking presets at home with a Line6 PowerCab but just did a gig last weekend they really came out through the PA!
Nice!! Yeah that was something I noticed the first time I ran it with IEMs and noticed it had spikey highs as well. How are you liking the PowerCab? I almost went that route but decided to go the powercab 200 route because a vertical 2x12 lololol
I really only use the PowerCab at home - bought it use with my Helix Floor (that I use for church where we are all IEMs). Until now I’ve used a traditional pedalboard and a small stage amp with a built in DI. The 2024 pedalboard is the HX stomp with a w few pedals (because I had the room and the large power supply already 😉). After watching your videos I added my Wampler Dual Fusion because I had really liked it on my previous board iteration and I found room! Thanks!
So I have it setup 2 different ways for live, depending on what amp I’m using. If I’m using the blues jr - I have all amps and cabinets off and just running effects. The only exception is one patch as a Marshall preamp to make it sound more like a Marshall. And if I’m using the powerstage 200, I have the amp blocks on, but keep the cabinet off as I’m running it through a 2x12 on stage
What is going to be your go to pedal for 2024?

SOLID TIP right here

Oh the dual fusion is a fun pedal! Enjoy
What do you think happens to the sticker when you try to remove the Temple Audio mount...?
Good point
Whats the name of the song off the riff in the beginning of the video? It is playing Very low
Oh it’s just something I threw together for the channel intro
are you running a helix amp into the real amp or just effects. Also where do you set your master volume on the helix when using it live.

Which temple audio plate size did you use for the HX stomp XL?
I used two medium plates. That way when it’s off the board it won’t rock and is a bit sturdier
@@ryansnydercg Thank you so much.
@@JehmzGo yeah buddy!
Are you still planning on doing a sound like Shania Twain video?
Hey Seth! Yea man that will be coming early 2024
The line 6 system doesnt have a drop pedal built in ??? I was going to buy one but now I think not ..
You technically can do it, but it’s not the best. The Digitiech Drop is ideal to be paired with it
it does and it is actually quite good, however, those polyphonic effects use too much DSP so that preset would be pretty limited on a HX Stomp
