Mate I didnt mention anything about the nationality of any boy playing for Melbourne Storm, sorry Newington, I simply stated that you guys bought a premiership via "scholarships" So "mate" maybe you should get it right and be big enough to say yep we did it that way, you might not agree but thats what we did. Instead all I hear is justification in any number of ways, yours I might add being very creative.

Just my 2 cents, there is a rich tradition and history of Pacific Islanders coming to Newington.
That some can play footy is no surprise and no problem for us. Think about how off this sounds to the young bloke playing, have some respect. Scholarships? Well, I think this is something other GPS schools could shed light upon. Newington, for one does not buy students, it has always been quite the opposite. They win a premiership and all of a sudden these 'sulks' cry foul, please.

Its so sad. Yes Newington won, but at what price to their integrity? Forget any talk about Joeys indigenous program which has been applauded by all in the community,for reference check out the 60 minutes report.Newington just out and out "bought" a premiership - how hollow it must feel.I can handle a loss, but what is happening at Stanmore at the moment, across all sports is nothing short of cheating.I pity the GPS year group of '13 who will feel the impact of Newingtons actions.
