I have taken up a bit of hiking and camping aside from my motorcycle camping and have been reducing my pack sizes.
I want my mororbike to look like i am just going to work and not looking like a donkey carrying oodles of weight.
At the abr my 500x had everything stowed away in the topbox and v35 panniers.
It looked great, was easier to get onto without a huge bag on the pillion and it rode better, especially on the gravel of abr roads in and out.
My biggest item now is my sleeping bag which i need to replace with a down bag that will pack small but still warm and roomy.
I have a UL80 sleeping mat which packs tiny but soundd like a packet of crisps every time i move. Thats got to go.

@@DDLovett I’m with you on the lighter packing Dave, also having some intention to backpack!
I feel that I’m getting to the perfect set up, although because I make videos I’ll always look at new gear, and my latest sleep mat, the Nemo Tensor Superlight, is performing exceptionally and hoping for some freezing night conditions soon to really test it out!
That Evazote foam mat has also proved itself beyond what I expected and I’ll never travel without it now..
Should be out this weekend, haven’t been so well in the last week or so!!
      All the best, Andrew

the marmot sleeping bags are good value for down mate, and pack down decent. Might be worth looking at. I did alot of research on them, there's so many.

@@michaeljsullivan524 I’ll take a look as although I have some good bags I’m ever looking for pack size/weight reductions 👍🏻

@@michaeljsullivan524 no problems Michael, I appreciate you watching so far!
Interestingly, I have considered finishing making videos as the cost of doing so far exceeds any advertising income which is very small scale.. I would probably leave the existing ones published but ultimately the channel would wither and die anyhow.
The other consideration is just to do campsite reviews which have a good following, albeit not large in numbers, however they aren’t costly to produce and make the least money so easier to do without adverts!
Genuine question, how do you see the smaller UA-camrs continue making videos when the costs far exceed the small income from ads they get or do we just have content from the big sponsored creators or wealthier individuals…I just don’t know the answer to this one!

@@thecampingbiker791 Hey, no worries. On the ads return, i can imagine. Im not an expert and I don't know whether you can choose the frequency of them or not, but I would have thought there was probably some revenue to be had from affiliate links in your descriptions, maybe worth looking into. I bought the pillow anyway btw, cheers 🙂

@ it’s no problem at all, I’m just the same on adverts 😂 Good choice on pillow, I’ve been using mine and find it to be one of the best I’ve tried, only beaten by the Exped Mega pillow which is amazing but for a balance of pack size/value/comfort the Gram Counter wins 👍🏻
