She knows talent when she sees it, regardless of her personal feelings. Despite all the issues she had with Christi and Kelly she kept on saying that Chloe was a strong and talented dancer and that Brooke had a gift.

I'm glad you showed this clip, because it was so obvious that Cathy was cheating, and she finally got caught, and the look on her face was priceless! That wasn't enough, then she had to lie on top of that, and say Brooke was in the wrong age category!! Seriously? I love how Cathy gets caught lying about her student's age, and then, rather than having the good grace to apologize, she immediately tries to deflect blame onto Brooke (which turned out to be fruitless because Brooke WAS in the correct age group) and then, rather than take responsibility for her actions.....she tells the student who was disqualified "Oh, its just because Abby was JEALOUS of me that you got caught in the wrong age group." The ONLY REASON that Erica got disqualified was because Cathy tried to cheat her way to victory. Even Abby, herself, said that Erica is a beautiful dancer, and had she been in the proper age-group, she probably could have won the whole thing.

@@zarahmadyar8332 I don't think it was meant necessarily as an insult, but as a fact or observation. The woman looks just a little up in her years, and her size is a bit unhealthy. Combine that with the fact that she had to walk to so many different places to get to the bottom of things, it makes sense that she was out of breath. Especially since she was probably rushing to do it before the scores were announced.
