- Quickest and easiest way to get the painstakingly long and tedious achievement know as "Zombie Genocider". All you have to do is go into the Maintenance Tunnels and then drive around in the route I set out (0:30). Eventually you'll rack up the kills all whilst ranking yourself up.
However, once you got the achievement, FINISH THE GAME OR YOU WON'T GET THE MEGAMAN BLASTER!! Can't stress that enough!! If you liked this video or found it helpful in anyway, please like share comment and subscribe for more!! :)

I killed 5,000 with my own route. I love that the zombies and cars refresh when you leave the area cuz now I can just make my way back over there and get back to destroying zombies.
got this on the 360 years ago and completely forgot the route so thanks for the refresher

Haha same bout to tackle this again for good old times tomorrow just bought this game off steam bringing back nostalgia I think this will be the first game I ever 100% get the lightsaber, mega buster, suit, boots, etc same with DR2

I’d also suggest filling your inventory with a few untouchables for the off-chance that you do end up stranded in the tunnels.
Hey man, I just realized I got the Xbox One version of the game free with Gold... Even years later, this Achievement is still one of the hardest in gaming.

How should I go about doing this? Should I just do main story cases and just kill zombies in between?
Nah man, just as soon as you start the game just head down straight into the tunnes. That way, you level up like crazy so when you do finish the achievement and play the game for reals, you'll be buff af.
The criminals h1 hummer is the strongest most durable car to run the tunnels

yeah, the whole game is on a timer, that mission only lasts so long into the first day if im not mistaken
You say "Get an ending", but can I fail the story then save status and quit, or do I have to wait out the 72 hour mode?
Trying this with just taking the roundabout back, and using the cycle instead of the car because it's so much faster. You get less zombies per run, but in theory should save on time.
But we'll see, down to 30 hours game times, and nearly to 20k zombies. Spent nearly 40 minutes real time just to get that, but a lot of that time was wasted just ironing out the run.
Still, not too sure if I'll make it.

Just wondering, if the cases all expire and you start a new game, do you get the achievement items (Including mega buster) when loading back into the security room?
Once you've killed 53,594 and you've gotten the trophy/achievement, let the timer run out and get the bad ending or else you won't get the MM Blaster.

No has to be 72 hour mode also you have to beat the game it does not matter the ending
Well, failed the post Medicine Run mission because of expired time.
Would I have enough time to try this, or should I just restart?
I'd recommend that you restart and go straight to the underground car park and start running over the zombos. Forget about time and any other missing. This "playthrough" will be only dedicated to the Zombie Genocider achievement. Once it pops, return to a safe area and leave the game unpaused so the in game clock still runs down and do something that occupies your time until an ending comes up. If you get the achievement and quit without finishing the game, you wont get the Mega Man Blaster.
@@justbeingdave3417 Good advice. Nearly did exactly that when obligations got in the way, and I was on my last 7 minutes.
But I DID IT.
Made it to a save point with 6 to spare, and now debating whether to just fool around and wait out the clock, or catch the chopper. Pretty sure I can make it anywhere in the mall within 6 minutes.

Took me about 2 ½ hours of constantly going back and forth in the tunnels I belive. One you get the achievement, finish the game otherwise you won't get the Mega Man blaster.
God it's been so long I can't remember. But it usually took me 2-3 hours of constantly going in and out of the tunnels. Just hit as many red barrels as you can. More Barrels = More Zombies deded.
I know this is late but you can still get the blaster and complete the game even if you fail the story mode?
@@ALgamer47 yes, once you get the required amount of kills, get any of the endings and the blaster is yours.

It should, I don't see why not.
I recommend you just start a new game and soley focus on killing the zombies, you should definitely have the achievement by then. After that, make sure you wait until the timer expires, if you leave the game without completing it, you won't get the Mega Man Blaster.
