Great video! Really enjoyed it. I have a question, and a (positive) comment. At about 6:45 in the video, is that entirely salt you're putting on the fish? Seemed like a lot but I may be missing something. In regard to the kids with the corn at about 10:15: one of my earliest, cherished memories is when I was age 3 or 4, peeling husks and silks off of sweet corn.
Shaye I have been really worried about your family in Washington. Are you in any danger of the wildfires around you? My prayers for your family and also your Dad recuperating.

I love a good summer meal, so well done too. We flew to Seattle then on to Bellingham to visit our daughter who’s there for 2 years the past weekend.flying over Washington I thought somewhere down there on the high desert are the Elliotts on their beautiful farm!

If i may recommend using an organic masa harina instead of corn meal. Bobs red mill has one and it's so much better than regular corn meal or corn flour! It's more delicious and better for you too since the corn is hydrolyzed. Thank you for all of your beautiful content!

I thought when a potato is green it can make u really sick ? Is that true ?
I just peel deep enough to get off any green parts. We've never gotten sick 🤷♀️ no sense in wasting the entire potato.
Yeah, it's only the actual green part, but even then, you have to eat quite a bit to get sick.

I'm saddened by .y Tomatoes they don't smell or taste like fresh picked off the vine Tomatoe 😢.

Cool weather will do that. My daughter lives in New Zealand and she has pretty much given up growing tomatoes. They apparently taste nothing like the ones she grew up eating in our hot, dry climate here in SW Idaho.
