This is a very versatile ensemble. Especially noted in this regard is the percussion section. Very talented and flexible on mallets and other percussion instruments. I've heard the opening piece (an arrangemenmt of it) by the Osaka Toin band >Just the opposite of this band. they number @ 200 with multiples on each section. This band (Chiba) is like a 'Noah's Ark band-" 2 of everyuthing. Yes the trumpets could use more players to balance out the sections but they play very well and overall the band produces good balance. I like the fact they include small ensemble numbers to feature various sections of the band. Good presentation and quality here. Keep up the good work.
