I’ve since had it 3 times… I use to say I was Covid’s answer to Typhoid Mary. 😂 I use to disinfect everything and am generally a clean freak but it didn’t help.🤷♀️ Prior to that, I honestly hadn’t had a cold in 20 years.

Bicarbonate of soda, my dad god rest his soul swore by it, when we were kids and got unwell he always put a half teaspoon in a cup of cooled boiled water to us yo sip it down, didn't taste great but boy it helped!! Yes great tips, we call it washing up liquid here as well, you can clean your jewellery as well with bicarbonate, a spoonful in a small container with some water, leaves them like new😊👍🏼 take care my friend ❤️

My little treasure❤Women tend to get more UTIs than men because the female urethra is shorter than the male urethra. It is also closer to the anus. These two factors mean bacteria have less distance to travel from the anus to the bladder in women than in men. As we get older our bladders are weaker so we cant fight infections like we used to. I've seen you talk about brushing ur teeth with it, but always thot it was the baking powder (here in the us) . Excited to try it. Thank you for sharing and letting us know it isnt the same.
I used to always do my grannys windows with vinegar, washing up liquid and hot water (as hot as you can handle) and they used to come up sparkling clean. Wipe over with a leather or cotton tea towel. I do my windows and mirrors , tiles with it now. Wouldn't use anything else.

Hi Kathy I totally agree with you about bicarbonate soda. I clean my teeth it makes my teeth so white. I also use caster oil as a moisturiser, makeup cleanser and for a scalp treatment and if constipated a couple of tsp does it.
Also I forgot weve got a cream coloured dog and he has a bad habit of licking just one pore, now dogs have something in their spit that can turn a paw brown it goes like the tear marks they get round ther eyes ,make a past of it and leave for a while ,wash it off it brings it white again xx

Actually, here in the U.S., the ingredient on my box of Baking Soda, says Soda Bicarbonate - so I’m thinking Baking Soda & Sodium Bicarbonate - are the same thing or very similar 🤷♀️ Anyway, as you were thinking of different uses… I have something crazy to share with you. Last year, I stumbled across a video of some gentleman who said he had prostate cancer … but that he’s now cancer free b/c he started drinking 1/4-1/2 tsp of Bicarbonate Of Soda in a glass of water 3x’s a day. Then, b/c of algorithms, another video popped up of a woman claiming her stage 4 breast cancer went away & she too mentioned drinking water with baking soda. Now, I’m no dr & I don’t know these people personally… but they both heard that drinking the bicarbonate of soda creates an alkaline environment & that cancer cells cannot survive in an alkaline environment 🤷♀️ But, anyway… you might want to look into it … & I’m going to do more research as well PS: (plus it softens your water in your washing machine & dishwasher & is lovely to soak your feet in) 🤍🕊️🤍

I use it for cystitis. A teaspoon in a glass of water takes the sting way! Of course you need to see a GP if it persists but it takes the burn away the next time you pee. Edit, wrote this before you said it! When I told my GP, she thought I was mad and in so many words told me to stop being so ridiculous 😂

Hi Cathy I have been advised by my gp not to use that. I drink plenty of water that way as it dilutes the water in the bladder. They used to use potassium citrate to change the acid from the urine to alkaline so it doesn’t burn , but I haven’t seen it for yrs. I normally get the cystitis mixture as it’s got the same effect. But gout is fluid in the lower part of the legs and has nothing to do with acid. All the best. Rhian x

Hi, Cathy, I have a sore on my tongue. It' s about the size of a cm. It's in the back and it's very painful. I've been to ENT's and cancer Dr's. Noone can tell me what or why I have it. I've been on several medications but to no avail. I'm not putting silver on it and taking Manuka honey. Do you think the bicarbonate soda would help? And do I continue the silver? Please
Yes, when I had an ulcer on my toung I stuck my toung out over the sink and put a bicarb paste I made on it ( just dampend some) I had to lean over sing as saliver came out but it git rid of the ulcer xx

I have been advised by my gp not to use that. I drink plenty of water that way as it dilutes the water in the bladder. They used to use potassium citrate to change the acid from the urine to alkaline so it doesn’t burn , but I haven’t seen it for yrs. I normally get the cystitis mixture as it’s got the same effect. But gout is fluid in the lower part of the legs and has nothing to do with acid.

Hi, Cathy, I have a sore on my tongue. It' s about the size of a cm. It's in the back and it's very painful. I've been to ENT's and cancer Dr's. Noone can tell me what or why I have it. I've been on several medications but to no avail. I'm not putting silver on it and taking Manuka honey. Do you think the bicarbonate soda would help? And do I continue the silver? Please
Yes, when I had an ulcer on my toung I stuck my toung out over the sink and put a bicarb paste I made on it ( just dampend some) I had to lean over sing as saliver came out but it git rid of the ulcer xx
