I've been an Amos Lee fan for years, turned my whole family on to him & lots of friends, no one sounds like him. He's my fave singer/songwriter.
I think this is about yearning for someone to love. Or finding someone who is so in tune with your being that they always make you feel at peace and at home, no matter where you might be. He equates such a love to the love you feel from your Mom: comforting and always there.
Really just so beautiful. I think this would be great for a first dance at a wedding. :)

This is so beautiful. I can't believe that about 6 years ago when I was lucky enough to be on a course and we got a trip round Abbey Road Studios and EMI, a CD by Amos Lee was in the 'goody bag' and I never got round to listening to it. I'm gonna go find it now, fantastic!
