    I don’t mind it, the interior looks a bit more premium, but subscription model? Really? If you built the tech in already, just let people have it

      I have a A3 living in Europe, I can tell you that if I want navigation, I have to pay $2800, if I want it for a lifetime. (probably does not mean real lifetime...) It has radar, so you think it has adaptive cruise control.... no. it shows you on the display how far the cars are infront of you, but you have to pay for the cruise control..... high beam assist.. another $140, and so on. To be fair, I think it was BMW that started this trend

    I wouldn’t buy any car I need to keep paying for features that should be free to use & built in. It’s not like they have added all that hardware & coding & haven’t already charged the consumer in the price of the car. It’s like buying a sofa & having a subscription to use the recliner function. Anyone who pays for this must have rocks in their head.

    Renting car functions? Are they for real?!

      Only in Europe per the narration. I'm puzzled about why they are going this route. Seems dumb to me.

      @@greeneyesms BMW started with this a few years ago, you had to pay like $10 a month to get heated seats... and now it just gets worse and worse. many car makers does this in Europe.

    Are they still haldex/FWD? Still macpherson struts or adding wishbones like the rest of the Audi lineup?

    I am interested in a RS3 and actually wanted to wait for the facelift model... seeing the basic S-line exterior design of the 2025 model and the minor interior "upgrades", I fear for the new and last RS3 model which will be announced this autumn. Ok, I have to admit, the technical upgrades of the new S3 sound really interesting and now I have to see if it will be the new 2025 RS3, S3, a previous generation RS3 or none at all. Hmm, not really convinced of this facelift tbh.

    Uk price hike and negligible changes, design from front looks horrIBLE .I expect 2020 models to see strong demand in sales now.

    Looks like a nice allrounder. I will be curious to see the reaction to monthly subscriptions to options. Some people may not care. Upper middle class housewives ?? But Luddites like me will grumble that the cost of building the car w/ included optional features = X, and if I were to pay cash for the car I'm essentially paying for the cost of manufacturing and installing those options YET do net have access to them unless I pay monthly for them. That's my issue with it.

    RS3 looks great but to only have the harsh sports suspension on the Vorsprung is a big error

    • @revan.3994

      Which RS3? It wasn't announced yet and there are no official pictures or details yet what's exactly to come in the 2025 RS3. Given the fact that the new S3 is upgraded quite a bit to get closer in performance to the existing RS3 (330 HP, torque splitter & Akrapovic exhaust option), the 2025 RS3 better be "over the top" or no one will buy it in terms of price/performance to the S3. Just my 2c

    Interior looks modern but plastic like. The flat stering wheel was better before and the stick gear shifter before looks sportier
    Exterior is great though

    The standard spec list is by far the worst in its class. Then add a subscription for items standard on competitor's models, and the A3 is a dead duck.

  • @arrkaye
    @arrkaye 2 місяці тому

    Subscription model is great! Cheaper starting price means you don't pay the lux car tax, then just add all the features you would have afterwards. Also great for second hand market where you can find a model you like and just add the features. As long as they don't double-dip it'll be fine. Right?

    • @AndrewTSq
      @AndrewTSq 2 місяці тому +1

      THe problem is that you do not get cheaper starting prices. Things that are standard in the cheaper golf (remember they are based on the same platform and share tech), do you have to pay a subscription fee to have on the Audi.. not sure how you got that to be cheaper? The only upgrade that is cool that Audi has is on the diesel, that you can upgrade to the bigger version thru software.
