Epi-9, Bonded window install and repair, (Peugeot Boxer L3:H2/Fiat Ducato/Citroen Relay).

After completing the NC500 in our Quirky-campers hired camper van we decided that van-life was for us. We loved it, so we purchased our own van to convert into an all singing all dancing camper of our dreams!

In this episode we install our four bonded windows to our campervan. The first window was scary and very stressful. Overall the job was fairly easy and went smoothly, however, we did discover we has a very minor leak that we had to plug after we had fitted the window. For this we opted to take the easy option of adding some additional sealant to the top of the window in order add an additional water tight barrier. We used Masterbond initially and then added a second coat of puraflex as the masterbond was a little too thick to work with and we found the puraflex easier to work with for this fix.
