An ad-hoc trip to Heathrow to capture some arrivals in some slightly strong northeasterly crosswinds! Sadly no go arounds while I was here but some pretty hairy landings at times, and in addition some nice liveries about too including a heavily delayed QF9 from Perth which usually arrives at 5am.

I only stayed here for 2 hours, after that the biting cold winds got to me and I decided to call it a day but overall some nice movements within that time, definitely nice to see the Qantas Yam Dreaming livery, especially in daylight!

I guess the Qantas QF9 from Perth must have been running quite late that day. Normally, both QF9 and QF 1 arrive in the very early morning hours, don’t they?
Yep it was, usually due in around 5am, however this one came in at half 11, 6 hr delay!!
