I just learn that in the 8th Edition that Catachan got invaded by ork pirates, a wounded void whale and later a daemon invasion. Which said that when Guilliman's Indomitus Crusade arrived, they found that the local Catachan regiments had already dealt with the threat.

A lot of fans think the Karskin of cadia are no stronger non modificated humam regimen, but this Catachan survive whit less equipment in a world who the nids avoid because a lot of more dangerous plants and animals live, and like gursh said, they dont take shit of any one not matter the rank or the officio

Question : have catachans ever been selected to be space marines ?? If not why so
my guess would be they aren't in any chapters territory or they aren't genetically compatible
No ones got the guts to tell them their now going to be wearing thick plated Armour from head to toe, and rigidly follow a book for all combat encounters
What about a Catachan space marine chapter made up entirely of scout marines. Although seriously why don't worlds like Cadia( I know it's destroyed) Armageddon, Krieg and Catachan have space marine Chapters? It's not like it would impact their overall numbers and the Cadian whiteshields would of been perfect space marine recruits.
Catachan people are sorta drifting into abhuman range so they are unfortunately restricted from being space marine same as ogryn, longshanks, and squ(THIS ENTRY REMOVED DUE TO EDICT FROM GW INQUISITION)

I had chapter approved 2004 iirc, it had a bit of fluff in it that said the two get along famously, as they both hate authority.

I too would like facts or speculation on the pariah gene, nulls have levels and they do have souls but instead of their brain chemistry being conducive to warp activities it grounds or dissipates it.

Question: Humans can be infected by many diseases (besides space marines), but is there any race like the Orks or Tau that are immune to disease? Tau because of little presence of the warp so nurgle cant do shit or Orks because they just believe they cant?
Well just because they don't have a presence in the warp, doesn't mean that the Tau are immune to disease, it just makes them immune to diseases that are largely warp based like the Zombie Plague or Destroyer Virus.
I figured as much but I meant more in the sense of is there a race out there in 40k known for being immune to everything. Tbh I feel like the answer is tyrannids but doesn't hurt to ask
Oh. Well, biologically speaking Necrons since they're skeleton zombie robots. They apparently can develop "viruses" in the computer sense (or maybe it's a part of their soul coming back and driving them mad), other than that I don't think there's any one species that's out and out immune to disease.
Slight misconception here, the Tau have a diminished warp presence, they still have one and theirs is a lot larger than certain humans who're lower on the spectrum of warp presences (aka the psychic chart).
If they had no presence then that would literally mean they'd have no soul.
