Honestly, I couldnt get Ogdo Bogdo at that point of the game myself. After numerous failed attempts. I came back to him much later after I had explored a bunch of that planet.
I played it on my friend's ps5 and he had his save right next to the entrance of the temple and I started playing from there. He said that he attempted Oggdo but couldn't kill it, and he only had like one more skill than Rob had here. So I went on playing and landed on Oggdo by surprise and beat him within 2-4 (maybe 5) tries. Just played it like classic God of War hack and slash, hit and dodge with speed and some slow down and replenish health. But the trick was to really stay to the sides, which unfortunately Rob didn't get many chances for that here. I didn't know that one can parry it though so I really appreciate and enjoyed Rob's attempts. I would love to continue watching him play and have Dave there for banter and guidance 😁
I think thats the point of it, Cal is in no state at the start of the game to take Ogdo on; only when he achieves balance and is reconnected to the force more, then Ogdo becomes easier.

Such a fun platinum, apart from the one trophy that requires you to discover every section of every map. You'll realise how bad it is when you get to it. Amazing game though

Hey PS access big fan i was also having some trouble with Ogdo Boggdo this week. I would highly suggest going to get the wall running and going through the secret entrance. Helped me tons and wouldn't have figured it out without y'all. Thank you kindly. Keep up the good work

It's so tempting to replay this on the PS5 version before Survivor is out. I blasted through my replay of Witcher 3 PS5 version (+ Hearts of Stone, just started Blood and Wine), and this is a much shorter game, so will definitely do this by March when Survivor is out!
Mercy me, I about spattered my screen with "Mace Window." The best droid is R2, though BD1 is a superbly done character. Good attempt, Rob. You got a lot farther than I did.
I love that moment in streams when Rob in his frustration with the game goes off on the chat. I think they love it too and that's why they antagonise him.

I found this game absolutely amazing one second then utterly frustrating the next. Playing it straight after Sekiro the combat felt a bit clunky and unresponsive and I didnt like the puzzles, but overall the world building is brilliant and the combat becomes fun later in the game when you unlock more skills. I'm confident the sequel will round some of those hard edges
So we saw Rob's God of War, Bloodborne series. It would be cool to see also this game full playthrough because it has a bit of God of War exploration + some Bloodborne/Souls style mechanics. And series can end right before next game launches so it will be perfect time to start next one.

When I played this game, ALSO ON JEDI KNIGHT DIFFICULTY, I got absolutely smashed by ogdo bogdo so many times in this early stage, tried around the same amount as Rob and never even came that close, only beat him way way later in the game! So you smashed it Rob, so close!

I'll confess, I was one of the people who asked what difficulty level it was. It was only because I remember doing this fight at this point in the game on Jedi Knight and being totally overwhelmed. Rob-i-One did really well and Dave made an excellent force ghost
Despite not playing or watching any Star Wars related media.. a small fun fact I love about this game is as we all know Mark Hamill played the main character in the older Star Wars movies and is *the* Joker voice actor. And here Cameron Monaghan played a live action Joker and voices the main character in this Star Wars property.

Yes, I have been looking forward to watching this since the notification popped up during my ward shift. This is such an awesome game 💙 Oggdo Bogdo surprised me the first time he showed up.
I played this when it first came out. I really love this game and definitely got wrecked by Oggdo Boggdo a bunch of times and only got him after I had explored a lot and got more skills unlocked. I definitely want to replay it before Jedi Survivor comes out. Rob is really good at timing parrys, which I always have trouble with in games. I definitely envy Rob's skills at counter shots in Bloodborn. I would love to see Rob and Dave play more of this.
Was thinking of getting this on PlayStation for the Plat as I had already got 1000GS on it before. So when I knew it was on PS+ I had to get it again after I get the God of War Plat.
This games been on my backlog. I just got through the Final Fantasy 7 intermission DLC and I think inflation hit the PS trophies. Would be great to have a full play through to celebrate it being a PlayStation plus free game and hype the sequel. Like with your God of Wat which I’m watching and enjoying. Thanks you two

It is a hard fight, but I think the critical issue is that Robi-wan was dodging backwards to a forward chomping frog. And frogs can leap far!

Using the force slowdown then the overhead slash works wonders on this enemy. Don’t think Rob used this at all.
Ogdo Bogdo...what a b*****d! I had trouble defeating him early on as well. Rob got closer to defeating Ogdo, than I did, this early.
