Nina is real to everything she faces, can’t fake her feelings and all. Basically she is in the rebellious phase just like any other teenager experiencing. And the rebelliousness is the source of the rock. So I wouldn’t call her anger management issue necessarily a bad thing. If anything, that’s the core point of GBC imo.
I love how complex Momoka can be. Personally, her words are contradicting to what she feels and when she sounds like she's just trying to be in a casual band, it's the fear talking in her. She wants to go pro, but when she had a taste of failure, she didn't want to go through the same pain again. In extension, she doesn't want Nina and the others to feel that. Momoka is passionate about her music, but fear is stopping her. And that's also a reason why she often clashes with Nina. Nina is passionate and would prefer facing stuff head-on than run away.
