Hi! I recently started playing Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader and decided to check out the famous video by @Bricky (who is amazing and gave us permission to use his content) • Every single Warhammer...
I'm very new to the Warhammer universe, I basically know nothing about it so feel free to give me bits of information as you see fit! Hopefully I make Henry Cavill proud! Also, don't worry, there will be a big video with all parts combined once I finish watching!

Ah yes, you have now seen the true horror and hypocrisy of Chaos. There is nothing good about them, and anything saying that is nothing but lies that the Slaves to the Tumor gods of the immaterium were lead astray with. People say the at least nurgle is better, but that is also a lie. Nurgle is maybe one of the most fucked up, maybe even worse then slannesh. He will torture and kill and slaughter with sickness and plague and pestilence and then coerce you to join him to make the pain stop. That is his love and gift. Khorne has lost any sort of honor he had, and will most definitely lie to you if he wants, it’s just not his first choice, and tzeench is…. Tzeench, not a good thing. The reason they are this bad is because of the war in heaven, which Bricky will talk about later, but yes, you truly are a daughter of the Emperor, stay based loyalist.
It says a lot when you get instantly interested in Slaanesh... Lol
Also there are weird huge Nurgle demons that dont have any weapons and kinda look like Jabba the Hutt + Medusa. and they worm around and squeee things to death. not because they want to kill you. they just want to hug things and are so strong they die.... like hugging a kitten too tight and killing it sorta thing.... they are genuinely excited to see you but are also scary looking and huge

It's funny how most reactors are usually like "oh wow Slaanesh sounds great lol" but when they hear about the Dark Elder, they're like 😦

Drukhari. Ooooo. Shiver me titillated timbers!!! Kabals, Cults, & Covens -- Oh my!!! Clutch my perky pink pearls & spank me inside out, upside down, & sideways!!! Call me crazy, call me weird, call me depraved & irresponsible, but two of my absolute favorite characters in the Warhammer 40K setting are Drazhar & Lelith Herperax, High Executioner Incubus & Gladatrix Champion Succubus respectively. Some intrepid & inventive laughing-boy, inkslinging wordsmith truly needs to pen a rollicking ribald adventure for that lustily lethal duo out in Realspace among the Mon-Keigh. That'd be a real hoot & a holler, eh? Maybe they could have a Homunculus, a Mandrake & a Harlequin tag along for a stab & a howl of a little tidbit of extra extreme entertainment, hmm? Oh indeed, what bloody "good" fun would be had by such a quintet!!!💋❤️💋🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 Heh-heh-heh...😆😉
Papa Nurgle also makes all his cultist feel good, like they're among people that care about them, he makes them immortal and they dont feel any pain. The bad side is that you're body is completely fucked.

no I think the bad side is that if you ever get disconnected from the warp you'll feel more pain than should be physically possible and die of all the horrific diseases you have.

Defeating chaos is actually super easy. One just has to turn the galaxy into peaceful, non-xenophobic, non-fanatical, relatively happy, safe and balanced place. It should weaken chaos and if kept up for few million years should dissolve the gods back to the pure warp. So yeah the galaxy is screwed.
If the webway project had succeeded chaos could've been weakened and ultimately defeated at some point. But you know, magnus just had to fuck it up
@@zaer-ezart I would successes imperium take over commoragh, but even if that was doable and could hold even fraction of humanity, I think extinction is preferable to living there. It will never be clean after the drukhari.
The other way is wiping the galaxy clean, which is possible for Crons and Nids.
Well, you can't defeat Chaos entirely.
The simple processes that make up the natural world feed the Chaos Gods.
Evolution itself feeds Khorne and Tzeetch. Disease and Decay feeds Nurgle.
The act of reproduction feeds Slaanesh.
You'd have to turn every living thing into Necrons in order to kill off the Chaos Gods.
The thing you need to understand about Chaos is that it wasn't originally that bad. Millions of years prior, the warp was much calmer, with only a small part being the Realm of Chaos. Each of the gods starts baseline with some sort of emotional concept (Strength/courage, ambition/defying fate, acceptance, etc); then these concepts were twisted and corrupted by the darker emotions/aspects of life. Too much war turned Khorn from "martial prowess and valor" to "insatiable bloodlust/I must kill everything". The same idea applies to all four chaos gods. They are a product of the 40k universe being so dark and horrible; and all of those negative emotions twisting the warp from something like an ethereal ocean into basically Hell.
Also, the Drukhari don't worship Slaanesh. Far from it. "She who thirsts" is the enemy of the Aeldari race, but each faction has their own way of saving their souls from being consumed. The Drukhari are basically acting out of self-preservation (but also because they like being sick, depraved monsters).
The "Chaos is not neccessarily evil" bit is not to say the Chaos powers are good, but that they also represent qualities mortals can feel attracted to. Yes Slaanesh is all about excess of emotion iuntil it becomes pure evil, but that's not generally why someone becomes a Slaanesh worshipper. Say somebody is a gourmand, they love food, the more exclusive and rare the better, now they are not a Slaanesh worshipper, but Slaanesh also represents the good feeling of eating an amazing meal, so now Slaanesh has an in into this person, and maybe that person now starts hearing whispers in his head urging them to try more and more exotic and rare foods, until that becomes boring and you want something more rare, dangerous or illegal, but after a while that gets boring too, so you start thinking 'what would baby taste like'and by that point those whispers become a distinct thing and before you know it you have started a baby-eating Slaanesh cult.
The point is not that the chaos gods are also good, but rather that they also represent things humans find enjoyable or good and that is how they corrupt mortals to their side . The warp is a reflection of the emotions of the mortal beings in the galaxy, and the darker those emotions become the darker the gods become. It's more obscure lore, but the warp was not always such a hellish place, rather it became so over time as the Galaxy plunged into darker and deadlier conflicts the warp became wilder and the Chaos Gods became darker and more evil in their aspect as well.
Everyone thinks they'd be a fan of Slaanesh at first, then they realize there is no safe word.
Yeah. Slaanesh is the worst. At least Khorne will make you bloodrage mindless brute and Nurgle make the pain go away and make you feel good. Tzeentch probably fuck with you but not as bad as Slaanesh.
Craftworld Eldar have a way to avoid Slaanesh getting their souls, each one carries a gem called a 'waystone' (spirit stone, soulstone, it has a few names) with them which captures their soul upon death. These gems are retrieved and placed into their craftworld's Infinity Circuit where it can mingle with other Eldar souls in relative safety. These gems can also be put into machines for battle, piloting wraithguard, waithblade and wraithlord constructs or helping the crews of tanks and larger constructs. Eldar were my first army so wanted to add that clarification.

Important Faction Note:
As of the making of most of these vids, GW has made a new faction called The Leagues of Votann
They're TECHNICALLY descendants from humans tens of thousands of years ago, but they're so far removed that they're basically treated as Xenos
So now they're basically Space Dwarves who colonized mining worlds near the Galactic Core

Hellraiser is Slannesh for armatures.
When Slannesh was Birthed, the death of the Eldar wasn't instant, it took time. Remember Slaanesh isn't about your pleasure it's about theirs.
It was pretty much instant
they died instantly.
Just a fair warning about Nurgle... he's not exactly into consensual relationships. That's right, he's literally captured himself an Eldar Goddess wife and has been infesting her with diseases, which he sees as gifts and is completely incapable of understanding others don't want them.
This is even worse than it sounds because she's a goddess of healing she's in a constant state of being terribly sick but not dead, as she slowly heals from everything he does to her. Nurgle uses this healing as a test bed to make all of his diseases even worse. Isha in retaliation whispers the cures to all species in the mortal relm, both human and Eldar. It's a theory that the Space Marine Space Wolf primarch Leman Russ is in the Warp trying to rescue her because he believes she can heal the Emperor.
Isha has basically been tortured by Nurgle for 15,000 years... by a creep who has been giving her Covid and worse for millennia.
Nurgle's minions are the main enemies in the videogame Darktide. Where his followers are basically Zombies, and your team is basically sent on a suicide mission to clear them out of the underhive of a hive city (think a city built into a mountain with a population in the billions).

Thats the beauty of it. As bricky said in the first video. "No matter what faction, you are the villain" Every faction is some shade of "fucked up" You only have few individuals that break the norm from time to time that can be seen as good or heroic. But they also do little to change the darkness in the universe. That is what makes it so fascinating@@ti8ick

Important Eldar Context:
Craftworld Eldar have soul stones that their souls go into upon death so they can be taken back to Craftworlds and be used to power different machinery (instead of being eaten by Slaanesh, which will happen if they don't have the stones on them or their stone is destroyed afterwards)
Dark Eldar are being slowly devoured while alive since they were close to Slaanesh's birth, but she leaves them alone and their energy is replenished if they continue doing Slaanesh stuff (which most of them enjoy doing, so they're still the most evil faction)
Harlequins are explained later in this vid as you're aware
Exodites are a small faction of Eldar who left earlier than anyone else and now ride dinosaurs as mounts
Ynnari are a mixed faction of different Eldar groups who have decided to work together to awaken a new Eldar God named Ynnead to counter Slaanesh directly

This^^^ . Also Bricky did Harlequins dirty. They are traveling performers , that retell the history of the Eldar to all of their factions , so things like the War In Heaven and the Fall are never forgotten. They also at one point were trying to re-unify the Eldar.

Also Dark Eldar BDSM? Did Bricky forget that those Eldar are Gladiators, that rely on speed over armour in their fights?
The soul stone part is a very big thing I always thought odd Bricky didn't mention. It's the whole culture of Craftworld Eldar to safeguard these soul stones so they can be brought back to the Craftworld, entire missions solely to retrieve them, and some of their warriors after death get put into these mechs which they pilot with their soul. They can also still comminucate with the living and if I recall the Craftworlds houses entire generations of souls you can commune with, but don't quote me on it.
@@prinstyrio0 No your are right. I played Craftworld Eldar back in 2nd and 3rd edition and that jives with what I remembered.

You should definitely watch his Every Space Marine Legion Explained after this cuz he did the World Eaters and Angron wrong. This video was before he started his podcast Adeptus Ridiculous where he explains the lore to a friend of his.
Angron did not remove parts of his brain. He actually arrived on a shithole of a planet where he was forces to fight in gladiator pits. Angron refused to kill his opponent so the king punished him by inserting a device called The Butchers Nails that forced Angron to only feel anger. If he ever felt any other emotion he would get a very paintful shock in his brain. Eventually, Angron created a rebelion so he could overthrow the corrupt leaders. The Emperor arrived and wanted Angron to come with him. Angron refused, The Emperor basically said "fuck this" and teleported Angron on his ship as his army of slaves died.
Angron disliked his legion and they decided to have a version of those nails in their brains as well, so they could be closer to him. This is what led to them being corrupted by Khorne.
Also, Tzeetch and Slaanesh corruption are more subtle then Khorne or Nurgle. So, Bricky had a point when he romentisised Slaanesh. You generally feel good at first but then you want more and that is how you get from airvon your cheek to torture.
Wonderfully put my friend. I as well can't wait for her to get to the legion video as Angron and the World Eaters are my favorite. Also i said the same thing about Slaanesh. It's a really good high at first, and you want more until you're into deep.
This is going to be the next lore video I'll watch since he only barely explained different Space Marine Legions in these, plus it's a more recent and updated video! Can't wait!
Yeah, he mentioned this in their most recent anniversary video of that podcast that his stance on Angron here was his biggest regret.
Because so many people watch the video now to get into 40k, and he now knows he got Angron wrong.

@@madbombermedia3070 It's similar to his part about chaos as well and why they're so evil. Not as big of a blunder, but the explanation is simpler, cause the chaos gods weren't always this active nor were daemons this numerous, it's thanks to the War in Heaven and then the constant wars thereafter which isn't entirely human's fault, the galaxy and the warp was messed up before humans could influence it, humans have just helped keeping the snowball rolling cause of the constant wars and suffering on a galactic scale.

I started watching bricky when he started the Adeptus Ridiculous podcast and now im addicted
The Drukhari are not so much trying to "please" Slaanesh, so much as they are trying to slow Slaanesh's drain on their souls. I believe GW used the analogy of a leaky bucket - there's water in the pail, but it's slowly being drained. The psychic emanations from the torture the Drukhari do is much like adding water to that pail - it keeps it topped off, but doesn't fix the leak. If there's nothing to torture, they'll eventually expire.
While the Drukhari have all this torture to keep their souls topped off, the Asuryani in their Craftworlds use a waystone (think the Soul Gems of Elder Scrolls) to trap the souls of dying Aeldari before Slaanesh can claim them. Only a handful of Drukhari actually realize just how self-destructive their society is, and even fewer actually leave Commorragh to join a Craftworld instead. Pretty much _any_ Drukhari is a sadistic psycho of their own volition. A few have broken away to join the Ynnari (mentioned later in this post), tough more out of pramatic concerns than actual morality.
Harlequins are one of the few xenos races that have actually been allowed to come and go freely from Terra - mostly because they have acted as intermediary mesengers between the wider Aeldari population and the God Emperor of Man himself.
The Ynnari are a more recent Aeldari faction led by the emissary of Ynead (Eldar god of death) Yvraine, and is composed of Eldar from all factions. Mechanically, it allowed Eldar players to use any combination of any Eldar units under the sun, allowing for some truly gamebreaking army compositions before being nerfed into the ground. There was even a book series that detailed the Ynnari's conquest against Slaanesh, but was was canned due to poor sales, and a cop out was given to justify nothing about the Slaanesh/Aeldari changing. To date, the Ynnari have yet to appear in any literary work that _isn't_ tied to the Imperium of Man (with which it has an on-and-off alliance, iirc).
A common meme since the appearance of the Ynnari is that Roboute Guilliman (Primarch of the Ultramarines) and Yvraine are banging each other. It's not hard to find memes that ship them.

On a galactic scale, chaos is mayby 1/10 of the full strenght of the empire, after Horus died most of them fled into the warp to not get crushed.
The Empires problem is that while much stronger as a hole, their forces are stretched thin and they are not only fghting a 10.000 year civilwar they are also fighting tons of aliens and trying to keep thousands of planets inline, its not rare for local guvernors to rebel.

Ehhh, that's so so in my opinion. I dont think it's any worse than all the other horrific things.
Eh, that's kind of 1 edgy example of Chaos that everyone likes to throw out as the super grim dark nature of 40k but really every faction has that 1 thing that's hyper messed up. Really Drukhari do the same thing on mass just for entertainment constantly.

@@dagonofthedepths well yeah all the factions in WH40k pull some seriously messed-up things. Even the Tau, with their moral high ground, are straight-up genocidal jerks. The sheer nastiness of the Daemonculaba is also thanks to McNeill's talent for describing the process. "Dead Sky" and "Black Sun" are good novels, but I wouldn't throw them at just anyone. Everything involved with Dark Mechanicus is seriously messed up.
@@CarlosGarcia-ze1mk I'm going to be honest I hate McNeil's books for the most part. I agree he's great at describing excellent moments but as a full book it almost always falls apart for me. Like that previous book (can't remember the name but the one where Ventris was fighting the Nids). That moment on the farm was wrenching but the rest was just ok. But what makes the Daemonculaba the crazy thing is more the mass industry based off of woman abuse. Taking that aside, if you seriously think about stuff like Arcoflagellent and, well the Cherub factories they must have the Imperium is kind of close to that leve.

I had a Dark Eldar army as a kid as they'd only just been released when I started collecting. Recently decided to get into the lore as I was only interested in the models as a kid...never realised just how messed up the Dark Eldar were!

Another thing that is interesting about Big Papa Nurgle is that he is also a god of life. From decay springs new life so in the lore he tends his gardens where new life emerges. Granted this new life tends to be new diseases and bacteria but it is life just the same.
I had a hard time choosing which army to start collecting at first. I chose Chaos Space Marines because like you said the models are so much more intricate and detailed than most others. They're fun to paint because you can really go wild
I love all the references you make to other IPs like the Githyanki and Starship Troopers. Bc they are so spot on and is just such a vibe
Great reaction, love how you're into it and understand the concepts as not all people do watching these videos whilst new to 40k! Personally I'm more a fantasy and Age of Sigmar fan, but I'm also a daemon fan so every setting is relevant to me! Something just about collecting and playing the biggest antagonists that's so cool. Amazing models too, Slaanesh's in Age of Sigmar, the Hedonites, are among my favorites.

Chaos won't always come back. They can be annihilated, but it requires exceptional amounts of psyker power to do so (Emperor), or weapons imbued with that power.

Very good job from Bricky, and your entusiasm and input makes it all more enjoyable to watch, and it makes a good combo with these reaction videos.

Exactly. What I keep hearing many say about _Slaanesh_ is that worshipping it will most likely start off as something very pleasurable and might not turn to “awful excess” even in quite a long while.
Then again, if a follower ever reaches the point where the excess comes out, it’ll be too late to turn back. They won’t “know” better to save themselves.
Important part about Nurgle, that was not mentioned - he also represented a new life, never ending cycle of decay and rebirth. Where’s a root there’s a new elements for a new life
Nurglites don't lie, they love happiness and laughter. Life hurts, but everyone hurts the same. Life is shared pain, Nurgle is life.

Nurgle also represents the circle of life.
Chaos has forsaken the Empire. They work to destroy the empire, they are usually mutated, and bring along daemons for fun. They also like to get possessed by daemons.
Before you chose Nurgle as your favourite in Chaos, remember that the screams of agony and despair of the ones suffering from the sickness he created are perceived by him as screams of joy and thankful prayers. He is litteraly a psychopath who doesn't see any problem when inflicting terrible suffering just because he thinks his plagues are a blessing. x)
The imperial inquisitor he refers to basically ordered the destruction of several worlds and extinguished billions of lives to stop one of the Tyranid hive fleets. Tyranids need biomass to grow so he basically cut off their immediate food supply to allow the imperium to organize….
In other words he blew up planets in the way of the bugs , worlds that had not been affected by the coming invasion.
His logic to kill billions to save trillions.

He forgot to mention that non-Drukhari Eldar use soulstones to capture Eldar soules when they die. This way they prevent the soul from going to the warp. And craftworld eldar often have to use them for basically necromany - they use these souls to pilot constructs. He could also have mentioned the maiden worlds because a lot of the conflicts between craftworld eldar and humans come from humans getting killed because they set foot on a maiden world without knowing. Corsair eldar are also a large eldar faction and harlequins deserve a mention too.

one thing I don't think that he's saying right about Nurgle is that Nurgle's flip side is stability (not just finality), in order for something to decay it has to be unchanging, left to rot. This is why Nurgle has a cozy feeling, there's an unchanging familiarity from moment to moment since decay takes a long, long time.
The Dark Eldar don't serve Slaanesh, they literally despise her, she's slowly eating them and they refill themselves by feeding on the pain of others.

As for the four main chaos gods having good sides, your reaction makes perfect sense for your understanding, but the power they display reflects what feeds them; pretty much any feeling, intentention or deed, even the good ones, or ones we call good at least...
The addition of Necrons opened up some truly ancient lore. To drastically oversimplify, they sought power to better their lives but were tricked or coerced into their living metal bodies, but also, they had fought in the War in Heaven against a race who wouldn't fix their problems. That war turned the Sea of Souls - which was safe for some to reincarnate from - into the mess that became the warp.
Beyond that, another theory on why the warp is so bad is that psychers draw power from it to do destructive things, more often than not.

Hi there, you may consider me as a huge W40K fan and also Im more "xenos" fan, than IoM (Imperium of Man), but lore is very important for me after all that years in hobby. There are three main angles how to view W40K universe and they are IoM, chaos and xenos sides. The oldest one (~65M years back) are xenos and it holds three of the oldest races in galaxy. Necrons, aeldari and orcs. One very important thing about lore shall be considered here and it is the way how creators contribute to lore - in two major ways. The first one is somehow fan based - seen mainly as non canonic side of contribution and the second is "canonic" lore accurate side - as accurate to "codex" (fully approved canonical content) as it can be. W40K universe (lorewise meaning here) has a vaste library called The Black Library (of Chaos) which contains every imaginable information and it is held by "harlequins" - an aeldari xenos faction. The Black Library is also a real life library (the actual existing copyrighted library) of GW (Games Workshop) containing thousands (yes more thousands) of novels and short stories approved by GW. And therefore is very hard to capture the whole feeling about this universe in short time (considered to days, not only hours of study time). W40K universe is very dark (in fact the genre is called "grimdark"), extremly xenophobic and utterly sadistic in many ways. So I wish you nice day - and be warned, that your life in this universe has no value. Or it can have one, if there is a bounty for your head, ideally only your head without body. Many pleasent servant days (too nice words for less than slave) wishing from Commorragh (the dark city in Webway) and please do not serve the false emperor of so called cresistauead (human in aeldari language) mon-keigh cattle. I was 14 when the first big rulebook about Chaos arrived in 1988: 'Realm Of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness'. Chaos was already well established before that in Warhammer, but this was the big one! It was such an astonishing book, full of amazing art from numerous artists and insane gameplay possibilities. I didn't sleep properly for weeks - I was excited and freaked out.
The bit that really blew my mind was the excess of random chaos mutations. There was an enormous table where you had to roll a 1000 sided dice (achieved by rolling a ten sided dice three times). The possibilities were infinite, and your most important characters in the game could become ultra-powerful daemon princes with iron bodies and insane powers ... or, just as likely, become drooling, mindless and potentially useless chaos spawn XD.
And that book only really covered Khorne and Slaanesh. Shortly afterward, Nurgle and Tzeentch were totally fleshed-out in 'Realm of Chaos: The Lost And The Damned'. Lovely!
And I think back then the undivided Chaos god Malal was still a conspicuous thing. Recently, there has been talk that Malal is even more powerful than the other four.
the thing is, the chaos gods dont FORCE people to do these things, they may wisper and ask, peopele do it of their own free will for rewards.
To quote a random commenter on adeptus ridiculous “Magnus did nothing wrong, he did nothing and got it wrong.”
And this is still just scratching the surface of every faction and the lore.

any extream emotion will do....I remember reading about 1 dark eldar who lived on a craftworld, surviving by hanging out around parks and theaters to feed of the ambient emotions as people played and enjoyed themselves.

The way I always think about it is that the Chaos Gods are a representation of an emotional state so they are feed more when a person is deeper into that state. That means that light touches of their influence is generally good and kinda wholesome, but the deeper you get into their cults the more extreme they want you to be because that feeds them more. They also tend to modify their worshipers in order to be a....purer?.... vessel for what they like. That's how you get from 'wind on your cheek' to screaming in pleasure as your skin is ripped off. It's pretty much a conflict of interest between the humans who need moderation vs the gods who'd rather people go fully into their worship and ignore everything else.
As someone who owns World Eaters (Khorne worshipping) and Death Guard (Nurgle worshipping) I can attest they are both fun to play are rich in lore and flavor in their own way. If you're interested in Chaos there are many flavors of chaos space marines to try based of the traitor space marine legions, chaos daemons and even traitor imperial guard. You definitely seem like you'd lean more towards the sides of chaos, they have some great lore and minis. Though I'm a space wolf at heart, the World Eaters are a close second of my armies I enjoy playing and lore.

All the factions are great in their own right, but once you find one that calls to you, you will be more invested in the universe and lore I assure you. Take it from me, I am a Space Wolves player at heart but I have 3 other armies, it is very lucrative. You'll have a great time learning about the Orks I assure you.

12.51-12.57 i have an out-of-universe answer to that: it's because in the beginning, wh40k was a lot less serious, so having a god of "sex, drugs and rock'n'roll" was acceptable. early noise marines wielded electric guitar's for example.
because of this 'silliness' you could have people, religions and gods that are just evil without having to make sense. the prbolem came when they made 40k more serious and now they can't explain why they're all wearing skulls and spikes
The Drukhari are my favorite hate/love faction by far (tho i rarely play them cause i don't want to get the cops called on me) so delirious and rotten that they make the warp look like a field trip through daisys they are the literal boogeyman of the entire galaxy.
Asdrubael Vect is to me personally the most fascinating and terrifying character in 40K a being older than Slaanesh and the Emperor more scheming than tzeentch more disgusting than nurgle and ever more brutal than khorne. This guy gives me straight up goosebumbs with just how many millenia he's been in charge of Commoragh a place where even the slightest miscalculation get's you killed or worse you should definetly look him up

I wouldn't say you're still alive as that dark eldar trophy, more like your soul is bound to it. Definitely not alive and breathing since you'd need lungs for that.
Chaos is the embodiment of the emotions and experiences of an entire galaxy's population, possibly the universe. So while Bricky is right that the Chaos gods do have a "good" side, like Slaanesh being associated with feeling the sun on your face, Chaos would have you feel the warmth of every sun on every face of the universe, without stopping. And now your face is on fire.

My theory is much simpler.
World bad = warp bad.
World good = warp good.
It is a feedback loop.
Choas is complicated and honestly, I think his interpretation is a bit off but really the short of it is nothing about them is evil until you do it in excess. Like you even take the aspect of Slaanesh relating to love and you crank that up to 20, it's a bad thing. You'll get people like Star Sapphire from DC where they are so insane with love that they start stalking people and murdering rivals. Or even further where it starts to affect your body, where love is so intense it gives you a heart attack through raw emotion alone. That's the problem with the gods, they can't do anything in moderation. Their goals and ultimate gifts are always in the extreme to the point where it can be self-destructive. Even to the gods themselves.
Main issue with the Drukhari is they got tech that borders on magic so they can craft flesh like its art, which to them that's a literal statement. Where they have a medical profession that's based on more the art of twisting biology into artistic expression than healing. As such you get a society that thinks it's cool to stick a living person into a harpsicord and string the instrument which the victim's sinew so they play wonderful music produced by the victims screaming. Bricky is being shock value with the rape thing. They don't really do that but it's more because touching some filthy mon kiegh in that way is like doing that to some mangy mutt or something. Some refuse to learn gothic because it'll soil their tongue to speak such a low barbaric language. That said, what they do is worst but it's hard to convey that without going into stories of what they do to people. But DnD terms as a society they are closer to Drow. Like mostly hedonists that are constantly in power struggles with their peers and are doing all these lethal political games to hold station.
