There's nothing wrong with the sumo technique itself, it's the bars that other federations use that bend excessively. The heaviest raw sumo in the IPF is 390kg. Three lifts above that are conventional (Inderraj 395.5, Cenk 400.5, and Jesus 410).

FYI, Jonah Switched to conventional because it fits more his body type. Sumo is better for some and worse for others. It os not easier per se.
Eddie hall said he could never lift 500kg sumo, even with training.
So who is the clown? You or sumo lifters and Eddie Hall?
Btw why is it that sumo record is lower than conventional?
Just coping and fanboying form your part (I lift conventional btw)

Eddie Hall is an actual clown though, poor choice of punchline. What he said (he says a lot of shit) is irrelevant because sumo is banned in strongman, but at the same time they get to use deadlift suits, figure 8' straps and whatever spaghetti bars the contest features so what they pull vs what someone pulls on a stiff bar in the IPF isn't comparable.
They should ban sumo for the same reason rules on bench were changed (not enough), it looks ridiculous and goes against the spirit of the sport.
