I really liked this song and I was just dissapointed on how she performed. Which was beyond awful. Like if someone came to the voice and covered and didn't get any turn arounds bad..so she is not good. Someone just spends hours in the studio in a program called melodyne and writes all her notes and phrases.
She sounds a little shakey, but I thinks it's just nerves too. The audience looks like it was shipped in from a morgue, no energy whatsever. I think that would shake anyone.

As someone who has seen her live, I can tell you that she is purely amazing. Before I saw her in concert, I also saw these videos and wasn't expecting all that much from her. Let's be real, she doesn't sound that great in this performance. But when you're in the crowd and watching her it's a completely different experience. She has a way of bringing you into every song and you can see that she completely falls into them and feels it. And people should realize that some of these were her first live performances with her new material and she is clearly nervous. And like any skill, singing requires practice. And by the time I saw her on her Enter the Void tour, she really found her stride and sounded great.
I live for Jhene Aiko she embodies a presence of peace and tranquility in HER and HER voice that shows wonderfully and even with the pitch changes in HER voice its subtle soothing if I might add I would definitely recommend her album and she's a must see in concert and i can't wait
PITCH is one part of singing, an important part, but not the only part. If someone is massively off pitch then, admittedly, they sound like a poor singer. Pitch is a key component to singing, it's not the only thing that makes a good singer. Although she was flat in places, she was for the most part on pitch in this performance. She has a great tone/texture to her voice, and is able to slide through scales and vibrato effortlessly. This was beautiful. It was real, the lyrics were beautiful, really how women feel sometimes. And her voice is so soft but on point, I really enjoyed this. I don't know why people always compare her... she's awesome the way she is.

She's a writer, a poet. She's even explained in interviews she's not in an entertainer especially in large crowds. Love me some Jhene and am proud of her success. Sailing songs really let me see her artistic side and she's been a work of art.

Shes ok at the least. Shes real pitchie and flat on some notes. Im a musician my self and i would kill to do a show like this but she needs to shed more in the lab with her vocal coaches.
+silahc laeno personally I think she's actually incredible but you can tell she's nervous and even still her runs were top quality, I don't think the pitch problem is a result of a lack of training more than nerves, and singing in front of that dead crowd didn't make it any easier
