I am glad your feeling better. I have been sick with a head cold that is now in my chest and I work in a warehouse with little heat and big Bay doors staying open for hours. I love your spring sign and wish I was still in my condo of 20 yrs where I had tons of floor space. Now in my late 50s and still single I have moved on with my mom to help her out but my dad who loves to make shelves is going to make me a long one for my "Inspiration" wall and I thought when I saw your spring sign "hey, I can do vertical one!" So I am greatly excited and can put on each end a small pot of silk tulips I have. Also, I love your pillow. Where I use to live we had 3 Dollar Trees within 5 miles ok f eachother and now where I live we don't even have a Dollar store. I definitely want to make a spring pillow for my new bedroom I just painted Soft Sage by PPG. I like to sew do I will sew mine but I may add a boarder of a contrasting color to make the pillow larger. Also, your tulip free hand painting I think was awesome! Love that pillow!!! I make pillows but I sew up one short side and the opened long side. This way it's reusable and washable. Then I make a pillow out of any material I have in a light color. Then I can just make the cases and swap them out and use them again. Plus the only thing that would have to be stored would be a a pillow case. You can also put buttons or Velcro on the open end of the pillow case to have it all closed up. TFS. Have a blessed day

I would totally skip the basket and weave it out of paper and rope (unravel to make it thinner). That way I can loop it to the back of the cutting board for easier glueing. Loved this one.

Such an easy way to make seasonal pillows. I don't keep them because I live in a small apartment, so I deconstruct it, use the stuffing again for whichever pillow I make next and use the towels for cleaning. I figure that way I'm not creating too much waste. :)

Such darling DIYS, love them all. Using the basket for the wall hangings was a great idea, love the hangers made from beads, and those flowers are one of my favorites from The Dollar Tree, they are so pretty and versatile. The SPRING sign came out beautiful and the pillow is so sweet.

These are super cute diys! Question...My DT only has the stretched canvases in the small ones. The 8 by 10’s are flat! I have tried hobby lobby ones and Walmart, and they have these big slits inside the frames. I don’t like that when I do a reverse canvas or if I just want the frames. I have to drive at least an hour to get them. Any suggestions? I’ve wondered about wood filler. Do you know if you can stain over top of wood filler, if I were to try that? The thing about going out of town is it’s not easy for me to do with five kids AND I get sleepy driving so I have to have someone go with, and then they may be out. Sorry that was so long. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I’m so frustrated over it. Lol Anyway, any advice would be helpful and appreciated! 😊💜🤗 love your projects Jessica! Always! 😊😊
Oh I understand you have to use what is convenient to you. I have never used the Walmart or hobby lobby canvases before but from what you are saying I think wood filler would be your best best. The filler I have seen before are paintable and stainable after it dries it should say that on the package. I hope that works for you and makes it easier so you can use those canvases.
