BTW, I actually saw Einstein near the end of his life, and the beginning of mine.
I was too young to remember it, but my parents told me that while my dad was pursuing his doctorate in meteorology at MIT, he had to go to IAS in Princeton (not to be confused with Princeton University!) to get time on John von Neumann's computer for his thesis, which was on numerical weather prediction.
And on a few occasions, while my parents were out on the campus there, my mom pushing me in a stroller, we would see Dr. Einstein, also out walking the grounds.
This would have to have been around 1950.

@@reimannx33 I am now 58 years old. I was writing the theory of relativity on the chalkboard when I was in class when Einstein came in and asked me to get out, so I went out, and was shocked after that he had published it in several papers!! I am 26 years old at the time.

Wrong ! Michael Jordan is the Einstein of basketball. You can't make such a comparison in such form. Einstein came before Jordan and a great contributor to science. Jordan may be a great contributor to basketball as a player and behind the science of basketball but he is not a scientist. Irrelevant.

Since most people commonly associate Jordan with being the best hoop player ever I figured my analogy would be easy to understand, as I tried to put Einstein in the context of the greatest, because he is. @john towers You're right. Human knowledge is developed by countless predecessors, we can't pick out one person that is the most important. But Einstein has the highest IQ. By discovering something abstract and counter-intuitive, he was definitely cleverer than somebody who invented a useful thing.
When he visited Spain nobody knew who he was but one woman did stop him in the street and say: Hey look, it's the man who invented the car!
