Just found your reaction. For this music video the band recruited young people who were all mourning the loss of a loved one, so the emotions are real and raw.
And yes, you heard the song. It was EVERYWHERE when it came out, stores blasted it, and it was on all the medical dramas like greys anatomy
My sister was murdered by a real scumbag of an ex fiance who is still walking free because the justice system failed. I listen to this song when I start to go to that dark place. It's bittersweet. I wish I had seen the clues sooner everyday. Rani would still be here with her son.
@@justsomeguywithnomustache6245 thank you. I wouldn't say I'm better. She was only 20. But I try because I have to do my part to help raise my nephew. My worst moment was when I was allowed to see her in the morgue. I blacked out in fury and had to be escorted out. But we've had her son for over two years since this happened. Despite everything he's a happy kid.

Grey's Anatomy season 7 episode 18 "Song Beneath The Song" . The entire episode is the cast singing songs featured throughout the years of the show to that point. This song plays while they are operating trying to save Dr. Callie Torres and her baby.
I loved this song then and still love it now. He wrote it as he was mentoring troubled youth. He actually wrote this song about a 17 yr old teen he was mentoring who was struggling with addiction.
They have some more too. One is called heartless, another I think its called over my head and another one I think its called you found me

Every song from this band I've heard so far from there earlier albums and music videos I remember hearing here and there what I love about it most is every song can truly help people get through rough times and I think that's why they're one of my favorite bands of all time
