with regards to the SA ad by Trevor, i laughed at your Joburg, Alex part. But in actual fact, that is not a true advertisement of SA, They are pulling the US on this one. and it is just a matter of being creative about it when you include these remote and dodgy areas, you can mix it all up and add warnings to the dangerous areas on the ad. tourists might even appreciate the fact that it a mix of culture and society, those that want to stay in fancy and safe areas can see it clearly on the add and those that wish to be adventurous could appreciate the roots, pop culture, indigenous learning, etc... just my thought
