My mother had the 15 Plus while I have the 15 Pro Max. We went to a concert. She complained that she couldn't see the artist at all due to all the lightning and smoke they used, while he was visible in my videos and pictures. You could even make up his face in the 25x zoom pictures. Apple doesn't go overboard on the sharpening with AI which makes it look nice. The live photo looks bad though with 25x zoom.
I think because the colors look more natural. The 15 Pro Max (and the 15 series in general) have this odd "filter" effect on the standard camera. You'll notice it when you're trying to take pictures of the milky way (look up astrophotography). The sky looks yellowish instead of blue or black for some odd reason.
I love my 16. I think it’s important to realise that most people don’t buy a new iPhone every year, so the upgrade from their old model to the new is really obvious. Like the 15, the 16 also comes in a plus, pro and pro max…. He is comparing the top model of the 15 to the lowest model of the 16…so if you want to edit your pics, get a pro max.

The only difference between the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max camera is that the Pro Max has 5x optical zoom, while the Pro has 3x optical zoom. The iPhone 16 Plus and the iPhone 16 have the same camera specifications. This means the difference between the two phones you are considering purchasing is slightly less than the difference in this video.

For me these iPhones are still point and shoot devices. If I want to do "real photography" I am still using my camera with 8-20 times bigger sensors and much better prime and zoom lenses....
The skin tone is set on dark on iPhones and aren't compatible with Europeans, Latins, or Asians who want to appear in their natural tone, or a lighter and smoother skin tone, which the Samsung offers. Every speckle of dust shows on the skin. You can put a Samsung phone and iPhone side by side and see an unfavourable tan, and the HDR look is trash as always, even when you turn it off.
I totally agree with you, your comment is exactly what I have been thinking for 2 year with 14 pro max. Rather than a smooth tan or beauty.. it makes the person even uglier with shadows. I mean it turns you into something else. I use z flip now and it is great hope the screen endures 1.5 year at least. By the way i think iphone 16 is better than pro series in terms of shadows. at least it takes a bigger light into a censor and with the less shadow it is better than pro. What do you think on that?

Apple stopped selling 15 Pro Max on their website, so while its still available for a purchase from some dealers you can get a better deal buyin it used and still under warranty. So you pay same price but get more features basically. And if we talk about comparing 15 PM to 16 PM theres no difference in image quality, I kinda skimmed over it in my first video about iPhon 16 and iPhone 16 Pro

Vanilla 16 is so much better than the heater 15ProMax because of 2nd 3nm chip from TSMC. A17Pro is just to shit in thermals parr, it easily gets hot. A18 is way way more stable

yes both phones are cleaned and everything is identical prior using the camera
