Most people do not realize how close they are to being homeless. It's the support systems we have in place that keep us from the streets, it can be a job, your savings, investments, friends, relatives, etc., but once you lose that support system, you will be homeless. Save and invest enough of your money so that you can create a cushion between you and the streets and in doing so, help those that are less fortunate.
