when i look at worship him, ceremony of opposites, blood ritual, i see a band that wanted to communicate something deeper than they were able to at the time. the limitations their approach to music imposed on them made their music somewhat masterful within those proscribed limits; we had a band really stretching the genre. but they grew into their own skin. most good bands change. this one changed masterfully

I seen this music video on TV many years ago and ever since then Samael has easily been my favourite band. The album Eternal is my definition of perfection, it connects with me on so many different levels

When commenting on an underground band video clip you must take into account the fact that underground bands have very limited budgets. Having said this, I think given Samael's financial capabilities, it is a good video. It makes you think how small we are and insignificant when compared to the entire universe. And this is what's amazing about Samael, they keep things simple and yet good enough to impress and convey the message. Samael embodies the french saying "La Simplicite fait la Beaute".

this band is one of those you always hear of but you never listen to, i was hoping they'd suck but rather disappointed this is more than good, sounds industrial, this one at least, and the vid reminded me of something like wat meshuggah or tool would do. Gotta check more...

Hawkwind? psuchodelic, sophisticated sounds and some electro) combined with heavy music, growl and some celestial lyrics :D Samael provided such thing in that album... But I appreciate for your effort ;) thanks for showing me something new!

Nah, this is mystic Luciferian metal. Hawking is a materialist/rationalist and certainly not a 'Luciferian". He's just an agnostic perhaps with sleightly rationalist deist inclinations in some of his writings. There are metal bands that deal with his minds stuff, math metal for example, less mystic/occult oriented cosmic metal. Of course, I'm splitting hairs here, but the universe is all about precise complex disti8nctions by way of entropy and evolution. :)
