@@tthinker9897 yea but think of it like this; they may be practicing a lot but they also have their childhood fun. what ever it is that brings them joy like being allowed to freestyle on the piano, stopping in a mall too look at cool toys or whatever, they think its the average amount of fun a child has. them having fun like others is like giving candy to someone who has never ate anything with a lot of sugar. they will think is "too much" if I can put it like this. it is like whole buffet for someone who only eats one meal a day. so even if they won't get any friends to play with on a playground, they will have their fun.

@Linny Ching na the waltz is actually pretty hard There's not just speed in a music that makes it hard, also intonation and emotions put into it, and this kid nailed them, his phrases are flawless, on a piano of this quality (bad) it makes it even better knowing that Almost all chopin waltz and etudes are harder to play well than la campanella
Nenrikido also depends on what you mean by play well. Too many ppl glorify the “difficulty” in making Chopin waltzes musical, don’t forget that musicality still plays a large difficulty in Liszt pieces too, he just shows off more

I love the tempo, feels like now a days a lot of pianist just try to play classical pieces as fast as possible, as some kind of attribute to their skill, but it just ends up feeling rushed, and you can’t even hear the notes being played properly, this was really impressive, great job!

WOW! Absolute astonishing, I can never imagine a 12 year old plaing la campanella, winter wind, and all the other wonderful pieces. One of the best piano players in this world.
This is impressive, yet I feel a sense of sadness for young asian children. Many parents wanting their children to be the next Lang Lang. You usually aren't this good, this young, without strict parental guidance. Any child can grow up to love music and be incredible at a young age, I just hope it's down in a compassionate way.
it is very rarely abusive in the sense you seem to be implying, in most circumstances the parents act more like managers, making sure their child is with the best teacher and is regularly performing. And since its music the child normally loves it too.
I don't like some people saying every Asian children are talented of doing anything in young age occasionally by force just because stereotype told you that. Maybe his parents are famous or good at piano, maybe he really like it and obviously practice a lot everyday. He can easily perform those stuff public means he is quite experienced. Mozart get no childhood? Did his parents force him? Can't deny there are some Asian parents acting strict and being demanding with everything, it is more common decades ago though. It is all depend on the degree, not to hurt a child mentally. Learning some good skills is actually awesome after 6, 7 years old At that period children's brain learn really fast naturally.

Thank you for your beautiful performance! I was watching it in class, (lol) and even though my volume was down all the way, I could hear it very well. This is not my first time watching this amazing performance, and I have listened to it with sound before, so I know how amazing it is. But the fact that you play so well I can hear it-feel it-without sound is proof of your incredible playing. I am a pianist as well, so I think you will understand.
You can plainly see his enthusiasm for playing , it’s what has honed his techniques and driven his passion at such a young age. It’s an amazing thing to watch , each performance was masterful for any age. I’ve seen people twice his age or playing twice as long as he’s been alive struggle justifiably with obvious pieces played here and he’s plays them with great emotion as well.

겨울바람은 난도가 난도인지라 좀 힘들어 보이는 부분이 살짝 있는 것 같지만 전체적으로 깔끔한 터치부터 완급조절까지 흠잡을 곳이 없는 연주네요....12살이...대단하네요. 꼭 대성해서 역사에 한 획을 그을 수 있기를 바랍니다.

라캄파넬라 보고 이름을 검색해서 들어와서 더 봤는데
보면 볼수록 감탄만 나오네요..저도 한때는 피아노를 쳤었지만 역시 예체능은 재능이 있는 사람들이 있나봅니다 저 작은손으로 어쩌면 저리도 부드럽게 음악을 잘 살리는지..꼭 피아노쪽으로 계속 해서 좋은 모습 봤으면 좋겠네요^^
