Linares is very talented. I'm sorry about his last two fights. But, perhaps, he can create a great career story by coming back, even stronger, and better in future bouts. We'll just have to wait, and see.
He came back and became champion, had a nice career , got fights with big names. Those upsets where he got stopped early gave those fighters opportunities (like Pablo Cano fighting Malinaggi & others) & still Jorge came back from those defeats to fight Vasyl & dropped him. He has another opportunity to become champion (interim or silver tho) when he faces Ryan Garcia, which if you don't credit as a real championship, it still puts him line to fight for it next.
