I am working and running a store in the PX and Commisary. In Graf and Vilsek! I just went in and applied to all of the places. Also keep my resume on USA jobs and indeed.
How hard is it to gain employment on base for a sibling? My brother just got over there. I’ve applied for jobs on USA jobs and the exchange. Just a little worried bc I’ll need to get a sofa stamp from employer to stay
Depends on what job you’re looking to get. You want sofa faster? Apply for an “easy entry” sofa status job like the commissary. If you can land that, hold on to the job until you can find something better, but at least the sofa stamp will keep you there in the meantime.
3-5 years. 😂 We got here 5 months ago, and we leave back to the U.S. in 3 months. One heck of a turnaround. This is great information. Thank you for helping all of us.
Can you make a video of all the different contractor companies in Germany? My husband is no longer in the military but we would love to go live in Germany Thank you 😊
You know people need this information!! Thanks. Keep putting out useful information 😊

If you want to work in the German economy how do we go about that?
Do you know any telework companies for spouses while stationed here?
There’s a list of them in the description 👍🏽

I worked fir the military and on the economy. 72 to 96. I had no problem finding jobs. I went to school at night.
So, if your spouse has a telework job and her employer is willing to work with her she is fine?
Yes 👍🏽 Many people do this while living here
