You forgot to mention that the KA-52 missiles can be launched from 15KM away, making them almost impossible to shoot down at such a long range. They were the main reason why the "greatest offensive" failed.

Ka 52 is a true battle tested tank killer, it has seen and fought battles where Apachi pilots would never dares to enter
APACHI WAS WAR PROVEN IN AFGANISTAN, ENOUGH SAID.
Also, most of them that were shot down were because of not enough flares. When 5-6 AA stingers lock on you in synchronized and timed, you are fcked if you don't have enough flares to counter all locks and missiles.

Ka 52 have gone into a real war against a well equipped force with many defense missile systems and still managed to survive and battle again.
I have seen an Apache on a movie actually fighting a peer enemy and it won.

apache helicopter is fine machine, no one should say otherwise. ka-52 is battle tested against western countermeasures and will receive updates necessary to improve against.
