As a Pittsburgher (born and raised!) it’s so nice to see someone who is so happy and excited about all the amazing places here. My boyfriend and I ran into you in the strip while you were filming! Your videos are so well done and so amazing. Keep it up!!
I moved to Pittsburgh 8 months ago and I love it. Coming from southern California it was a pretty big change for me and my family but it has totally been worth it.
Factories were all around Pittsburgh, but the Strip was all about supplying the city with food & merchandise. The warehouses were not factories, but rather cold storage ice houses. Dry goods were stored separately. If you notice, the train tracks are right behind the warehouses. Imagine Chicken nuggets in 1850.
NOLAROSS here , of course I am from the south , and I think you are right Philly kind of over shadows Pittsburgh….. I’ve always wanted to go to Pittsburgh, and your video is amazing !!!! I really want to go now , and I hope it’s a beautiful sunny day with everyone outside just like in your video… thanks
Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities honestly and I'm from Central PA, people are always super helpful and just good people all around. Pittsburgh has truly turned around and changed in many ways, tons of history, amazing neighborhoods and great places to eat and explore. Pittsburgh is truly an amazing place, driving out of the tunnels and seeing downtown, the bridges and the skyline laid out in front of you is seriously one of the most impressive views you can imagine. Enjoy the City of Bridges. 👍
i have drove by there in january 2021, but i havent walked around the strip in a long time, maybe 3 years, i live 45 min away, i use to go down there alot when i first moved here from calif in 2012
My family and I are vacationing in Pittsburgh the 2nd week of August. Looks like the Strip District has a lot to offer. We'll definitely be hitting it up!
Not from Pittsburgh but 2 hours north. Everytime I'm in Pittsburgh it wouldn't ve complete if I didn't make strip district visit. My favorite place is Sunseri Bakery on Penn Ave. The old Italian man with the stogie hanging out of his mouth is so nice
Your vlogs popped up on my UA-cam, I’m from Pittsburgh but I left in the 70’s to join the Air Forces. I’ve been a few time I love in Ogden Utah now. I heard you mentioned that you work for the Steelers. I grew up with jimmy Sacco if he hasn’t retired works for the Steelers. I agree with Annie they are very well done. But I don’t think the winters are that bad. You should do a vlog on the pizza shops around the city. Fiori’s , mineo’s to name a couple. They’re are quite a few great pizza shops fioris is the best.
we're headed to Pittsburgh in June. Do you think we should rent a car to get around to all of these separate pockets that you show in your videos or can a few uber rides cover it?
Sounds like a cool place to visit, but where exactly is it? The map at 0:28 doesn't have much detail. Is the Strip District bordered by certain streets? Is public transportation available? If not, is there decent parking? Thanks.
Pittsburgh has several well endowed foundations left by and run by people who love the city, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. From what l understand, the Heinz Endowment donated the 1st 200M to build Pittsburgh's Cultural Center, theaters, etc.

We recently went to The Strip (not knowing what to think). We ended up loving it there! Such a cool area of Pittsburg!
That's beautiful... watching from Kenya Africa.
The terminal building is most filled today with cool stuff..

The last time I was in Pittsburgh the terminal was vacant.

I'd say Uber/walking would suffice. It's pretty manageable.
Is metapole open

If you search for it on Google Maps it should give you a pretty good idea and yes there is public transportation available everywhere in the city.
Best hood' for urban living in a condo or apartment?

Growing up in Pittsburgh and watching this made me realize that, boy, Philadelphia must really be in bad shape....

Hey Drew ,you didn't mention that the finest girls in the country live here.
Biggest cap of all time
I don't think there's one "coolest spot" in Pittsburgh. The Strip isn't poppin like it used to be.
