I love Baby D... we've already raced an Audi, Mercedes and a couple of Trucks in highway races.... Shes just so small that she can zip through the tight spaces that leaves those big cars pinched behind.
I test drove one a couple of months ago and asked the sales guy about it. He said they could probably put an armrest in. Aside from that it is a really fun car to drive. It's safe, has plenty of power, and tons of standard features. Consumerguide Automotive gave it a strong recommended pick for 2009.
I love my Scion xD...but I also don't live for my car. It's materialistic, not something so overly important I fight online about it's specs. It's a safe, reliable car, that for me, is super comfortable.

They wanted 9k and I said not interested Then a 15 manual XB came up at a dealer. I test drove it and was really interested. They wanted 12500, 2 years ago. I offered 10k. Would not deal. Checked back 2 weeks later. They said 11500. No deal (I had specific budget). Snowstorm predicted a few weeks later.. They called me, to sell before it came and no one shopped for another week. 2 hrs negotiations on phone.. got for amazing 11k with 32k miles! Love it. Roomy, fun, versatile, etc.
It's a nice car, but i like the xA front end more. It does have alot of features and i like the fact that it has a Pioneer radio, perfect sound right there.
I think it's ridiculous that many of these cars have these advanced bluetooth and navi systems and yet don't have even an option for a center armrest. :-/
i used to have an XA but i sold it and bought Qashqai 2007..... the reason why i'm hear cause i really miss my old car and wanna see if scion branded anything like it ..... I totally recomend Scion hatchback cars cause it's so fun to drive as the guy said in the video ... anyway i live in saudi arabia so we have no XD here .... i wish if i can have this car as a backup
Toyota should do away withToyota and go with Scion as the Brand. Scion emblem looks much much better. The "T" in Toyota looks hideous. Its not even a T. Wrong! Scion xD got most reliable subcompact of the year. Besides, the Fit just doesn't look cool. And who gives two shits about awards?
