I love Octopi/Octopuses. Ever since I saw that Octopus leave his tank to go visit his Octopus friends in other tanks, I fell in love with them. They're incredibly amazing animal.
Calamari?
Are you a small kid?
@Rulya
Extremely inteligent and masters in escaping technique.
If you want to nerd out: It's octopodes. The word is from Greek.
Nature = absolutely incredible.
Credit to whom ever filmed this!
@south
Exactly my thoughts.
'whoever' - - nominative case - - the whole PHRASE 'whoever filmed this' is the object of the preposition 'to' - - - - you can thank my TEACHERS - - who were NOT NEA union hacks
It's amazing that they were able to record that orchestra UNDER WATER.
Background muzak is always necessary to keep us ADHD 'tubers interested.
@@TucsonDude I second this
I love how he/she spits out the parts he/she can’t eat. ❤😅
Everything I have seen and read about these creatures indicates they are very smart and creative. This video confirms it.
All you can eat, Crab buffet!
😂
His Realtor told him that, when hunting crabs, its all about LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!!! 😊
I didn't know mister crab can jump that high! 😂😂
Money😂
@@engineerbanaartist4265 😂😂😂😂😂
The sound effects are a bit much, but still, this is really cool.
The Octopus is definitely my favorite ocean animal, I learn something different about how intelligent they are in every video I watch, it's so amazing
Octopus: “Get ovvvvarr heeerrrrreee!”
You’re funny baby
Nature is Amazing
The fake sound effects are too annoying.. the video is great.
Octopus is the most amazing animal in the world. I have seen wildlife documentaries for more than 25 years, and I can say, no animal is as incredible as octopus. Intelligent, beautiful, dramatic and yet mysterious.
I think if octopuses were longer-lived -- long enough to teach offspring all that they know -- the seas would have octopus "cities" that they built and live in.
There's no telling what such intelligent creatures could achieve if they didn't have to learn everything from scratch every generation.
And at least one Garden...
Do you mean 'Watch this octopus devour a crab as it jumps," or "Watch it devour crabs as they jump?"
Thanks. The title was inaccurate.
Octopi are my favorite class of animal species. So complex and intelligent that it's a shame that they only live a handful of years. I believe they are much more intelligent than we really know and if what some scientists believe are true, They could be an alien species that came to earth on a meteorite millions of years ago. They really don't match a whole lot of other species on earth so I believe it!
there has actually been some species found that live longer than most others. Essentially they live quite deep and on underwater hot water vents. Read about it in ‘other minds’
Don't they have eight tentacles/'arms' like spiders have 8 legs? Do you eat Calamari?
@@tacticalix 8 appendages is the only similarity, yes. Humans have 4 appendages, how similar are you to an alpaca?
@@saturniidspectre😂😂
@@saturniidspectre Actually we're all allegedly 50% Portabella Mushroom. So....
What "trap"?? Fish come around like "Hey! What are you DOING to that guy!? Can WE have some!!?".
I guess they mean it hides itself intending to ambush prey. Still though, not really a trap.
I lived in South Africa for 2 years and I dived with octupus every week in all the time I was there.
I really miss it
How old are you?

Octopi are badass.
Real sounds......so relax its an underwater microphone people!!!!
Saludos cordiales desde Bucaramanga Colombia
Those nosy fishes are lucky that they're not on the menu. They seem to "know" I think.
That was a very spunky little shrimp!
Nature...is there anything cooler, more unique, or more fascinating...
Nope
I thought I was the King at the all you can eat crab buffet.
I am humbled after this.
Beautiful animal.
Leaping crab! Who knew
Coolest animal on earth! Octopuses are so awesome!
The two that scare me the most are sea snakes and moray eels
The eating sounds 🍳
He was spittin out shells like he was eating sunflower seeds!
映像めっちゃカッコいいな
If you consider the rate of transmission and retention of knowledge in humans, one can only imagine what octopi would be capable of if they lived for 70 years.
Octopuses aren't just strong with eight arms, they're also smart with them! Two-thirds of an octopus's neurons are actually located in its arms. This means their arms can act somewhat independently, allowing them to solve tasks and explore their environment without direct control from the brain.
Fish: "Hey there, hey we can clean up the remains and mess so the other crab don't get sus, you good with that?"
Octo: "Fine... *sigh* you guys don't taste that good anyway... you might as well be useful for something."
Fish: "Whoa whoa hey, I mean we're just trying to help out where we can... I mean you're good with this right?"
Octo: "...... yah we're good."
Fish: "Nice, okay. HEY guys, come over! We're good!"
Octo: "................."
Ah, saw this on Blue Planet II. Sally Lightfoot crabs have to cross this area to get to their feeding grounds while the tide is out. Eels are another “large” predator lying in wait for them to cross, both there and back. Fascinating stuff!
Wow! Just wow!
Smarter than most humans, that I encounter!
Titanus Na Kika is just as smart, lovely and amazing!
Very nice captured !!
Thank you for sharing/posting this incredible video. I wish you could do video on Bobbit worm.
Don't these creatures get AWFULLY tired of eating seafood? "What are your thoughts, Hobson?".
Only one solution to that problem… Build an underwater McDonald’s! Then they can get tired of that too.
@@mikeholt1248 Ha!
@@mikeholt1248 But your name isn't Hobson!?
I'll be paying own tab! - Octopus.
Such an intelligent specie
Sometimes you're the diner, and sometimes you're the dinner 🤪
Octopus had his own private crab feast lol
That's insane!
Cool Ukrainian fish in the upper right at 0:06!
🙂❤👍Awesome Video Thank You 🙂❤👍
Bruhhhhhhh how yall jus cut that epic battle off like that😤🤯
Very intelligent
How are they getting all these shots/angles?
Don't believe it. It's AI.
Paid another octopus to follow her around and film.
Jz wondering how this much talented videography was captured under sea with such great details ? Is it AI generated 🤔
The greatest losses of my life ... A pickled Octopus, in a glass jar, captured my grandfather in the Panama Canal as it was being built. Was stolen from my mothers house, while I was a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. The other loss was a bible that was owned by the same grandfather, given him on his 18th birthday 1910.
Love all your Docs!! 👏👍🤩❤️🇨🇦
🎼🎵 I gotcha!! uh-huh uh, you thought I didn't see ya, now, didn't ya, uh
uh-huh, you tried to sneak by me now, didn't ya, he he he 🎶 - Joe Tex 😂
Fascinating animal.
In 1981 or so In Laguna Beach California at Victoria Beach I was snorkeling and I found a dead alewife (or something like that). A girlfriend of back then was wading around close to shore so I thought I would be funny a guy and swim underwater and drop the fish down the back of her bikini bottom. As I was swimming towards her I decided it was a stupid idea so I let go the fish and it sank down towards rocks. Suddenly, from the rocks an octobpus tentacle shot out and grabbed the fish and pulled it in. A few seconds later the tentacle shot back out and let go of the dead fish to continue it's jouurney downward. I thought it was funny that the octopus didn't want no dead fish for dinner.
All hail the spawn of Mighty Cthulhu! 🙂🦑🐙
Fascinating ❤
For all that armor and the pincers, all I seem to see on UA-cam are videos of other creatures eating crabs. Do the crabs ever win?
Omg.. perfect
So clever.
So NASA has confirmed that Octopuses are from another planet! Lol
The thumbnail looks like a hippos head 😁
Dude, the music is soooo unnecessarily suspenseful. 😰
This video just made me hungry
I love your videos!
Very efficient trap.
Amazing 👽👽👽
سُـبْحانَ الله ❤
6mos jeez I love the animal kingdom. The purest form of being.
Imagine if Squidward able to devour Mr Krab after watching this😅😂
"This kills the crab"
The only creature more amazing is the cuttlefish!
Cats of the sea. They are about as lethal as domestic cats, some of the most efficient, versatile, and lethal killers on land. Or is the domestic cat the octopus of the land?
Incredible stuff right there. It’s like a octopus garden, from a Beatle perspective
Me encanta pulpo. Este video ayudame no siento mal por comiendo pulpo. Those video's showing how smart they are to make me feel guilty, this helps alleviating that.
Is that Paul Rudd narrating?
Sound effects peeps are clearly paid on commission LOL!
How do you know its 6 months old 1:27
THATS FOR NOT GIVING ME A RAISE KRABS
Those are Sally Lightfoot crabs
Why are these not the dominant life form on this planet?
Terrible sound effects. Great video
Die Kameras mit den die Videos gefilmt wurden haben mehr Geld gekostet als meine alle Verdienste aus ganzem Leben xD
❤
Heyo
Crab soup he said??🤔
If the shark is "always looking for an easy meal"....then WHY did it pass by all the little 'hors d'oeuvres' FISH?? I think they are a tad more 'particular' in their 'cravings'.
Just because they're smaller doesn't mean they're easy.
Those fish are likely very quick. When they mean "easy meals" in nature, its usually the same energy calculation. Do you use more energy chasing down, catching, and eating the prey than you'd gain in eating it? If yes, then it's not usually "easy."
Why do you call this "insane animals"? They're just doing what they do.
Because octopuses are insanely intelligent and impressive to behold.
Why was the shrimp after octopus??
I feel sorry for octopi(sp?). So intelligent yet only live a couple of years
I do not want to be reincarnated as a crab.
P.B.S. "Nature" Octopus Making Contact. This show will blow your mind. Look it up you will not be dissapointed. I guarantee this😃
I think that's a male octopus.
The fish hovering by his hiding spot out there wet snitching for real 😒😒😒😒😒
🎉🎉😊😊😊❤❤
👍🏿
Scientists have said if ALIENS are real they'll look similar to a octopus 🐙how they come up with that i don't know??
