You should trademark some of this stuff...if that’s even possible. Okay, it’s not possible, but these are high quality tips regardless. Well done Litewave!
Thanks Anthony! We can't take credit for the pot...but it works like a charm, and yes, I do believe a Baby Ruth bar, may be a good bonus structure for the team!
Cool vid👍🏼I wish I’d watched it a year ago, instead I’ve been learning on the go...and it’s been a pretty stressful experience! I’m making a 15 minute Forrest Gump parody video with my kids, and it’s been full on, I’m currently trying to do voiceover with my son and you really do need buckets of patience when working with a young kid. Can’t wait to have it all finished😀all that stress will have been worth it and the kids will have a cool memory to look back on🏃🏻♂️ Hats off to any parents giving this a go! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks! Glad you liked the video! That sounds like an awesome project. I’m sure they’ll look back on it fondly. Forrest Gump is a big undertaking haha. Share a link here when you finish if you can. Would love to check it out 😀👍
Film Jams cheers will do, my boy is running around England rather than the States, only worry I have is I’m currently using all the official music & i’m sure UA-cam won’t like that. So I’m going to need to research how/where to post it or replace all the music with something that I am allowed to use. I wish I could get a yes or a no from UA-cam on each song choice before adding it in. Any ideas? As I’m a little clueless on the music copyright front. Thanks for the reply 🙏🏻 Ps: I do have a 1 minute spin off vid from my Gump project on Instagram if you wanna glimpse of what’s to come. Instagram jhwiggy (sillywiggy)
@@WIGGYMEISTER76 Cool I'll check that out now on IG! For music. That's tough - getting licenses to any major releases are going to cost big $. What I typically do is go through Universal Production Music to find "sound alikes" that are much (much!) cheaper but still give you the same vibe as the original. That's really the only way around it if you want to post on UA-cam and not get dinged for copyright, or if you ever want to sell or monetize your video. Hope that helps and good luck out in England!
Film Jams thanks so much for the reply on that 🎶 i appreciate your help👍🏼I think I’ll keep the original music for a home version & do as you said for a you tube version, it’s a shame because as you well know the music can really bring a video to life. I only have one scene left to film, but this lockdown is doing me no favours. 🦠 🏠 🦠
@@WIGGYMEISTER76 hi there :) I read the comments from 11 months ago and I was wondering if you completed the movie and did u post it somewhere? If yes..please send me a link. I would love to see your work. Cheers! :)
Jeff Lennan hi Jeff! It depends on the young actor. Lennon is pretty awesome and can memorize pages of script. But for improv stuff we try to keep it fun and light-hearted and that seems to be the best way to feed lines. Trying to make it feel like a game works well too.
Haha good question! I’d say it depends on the situation and the kid, but I think that might be true for a lot of circumstances. They may take it more seriously if it’s a different person directing them. But on the other hand some kids might not listen to a random director they don’t know well. I think you sort of need to mock audition them and see how they interact with you as a parent director, and then with someone else directing them. Find out what works best for them.

Great tips! Think I can use the pot trick even if the camera off?
Low Boost Films thanks! Haha our friend came up with that one and it works pretty well to keep younger actors in one spot! :)
Great content. Well thought out and effectively communicated! Nice work!
Thanks Kcorb. We appreciate you watching!

Thanks A2B! I like that idea...maybe a book down the road! But only if you write the forward (in Pig Latin, preferably)!
Great practical tips. Thanks a lot👏
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching 😆👍🎥

How do you feed your lines to your young actors?
Jeff Lennan hi Jeff! It depends on the young actor. Lennon is pretty awesome and can memorize pages of script. But for improv stuff we try to keep it fun and light-hearted and that seems to be the best way to feed lines. Trying to make it feel like a game works well too.
Will UA-cam allow you to monetize a short film with child actors if all the rules are followed?
MortuaryStudios possibly. I’m not 100% sure of all the rules. Will look into it tho!
@@FilmJams Thanks, I will too. . .
You’re welcome. Good luck! 👍🍀
Do you think it's more difficult when the kids are yours?

Let’s DO IT! Next video...”How To Make Movies And Get Paid With Candy”.
If by "candy" you mean Celery, I think we can make that happen!
