In recent years they have been doing "dinner parties" to talk about a variety of things and memories. Most of the time they try to do an anniversary concert/fanmeeting too that they call "Muster", as in mustering their ARMY.
Honestly, they're all pretty impressive singers: JK is the main vocalist, he's always ad-libbing, riffing, and handling a lot of the choruses. He has an absolute killer voice. Jimin is the lead vocalist, he’s known for the high notes (he's a pure tenor and his voice is very unique so it tends to cut through the melody quite often) Jin in my opinion, has the best belts. He can hold a sustained note like nobodies business, and his vocal range is ridiculously impressive. V is the vocal lines baritone, his tonal quality is also very unique. He often handles bridges cuz his voice has this ability to just pull it all together
Jimin is a counter tenor, the highest of the four male voice types. They've all extended their range (distinct from their voice type) quite a bit through practice.
As an ARMY, seeing you guys starting to recognize who's who in the group and being able to match the personalities with the faces and names makes me smile. Getting the names right is a sure sign that you have fallen into the rabbit hole.😂

But V may seem like he's quiet (when sometimes he is just thinking a lot or focused on listening) but when he is engaged with his surroundings he can be loud/ and a cute goofball. 😀

So when you see him acting goofy it's because he is having fun in the moment and likes to entertain Army. The other guys were looking at him cautiously with smiles on their faces because they are never sure what he might do next. V is always full of surprises and we love him for it!

Bts takes most of their things seriously, and spontaneously goofing around with their members. WATCH MMA 2019 BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!! I am a 49 year old mother from Arkansas. I discovered BTS this year. After watching the full MMA 2019 performance, I was an instant ARMY. Each and every member of BTS are so incredibly talented. Beyond that, these are seven of the purest souls that are truly filled with genuine love. They work hard and try to be good people and role models. That is something rare in this world.
I don't agree. Don't watch it first. Watch them in order. However, it is one of their best. But it's great to watch them and the production get better year by year. Plus you have watched so few of their songs. Get a lot of songs under your belt. Learn their names. Good job. And then when the time is right Feast your eyes on the most unbelievable production. It's just an award show. But their performance takes up half of the show!
I also disagree. So much other amazing stuff to watch before you get to the absolute creme de la creme of performances. While I don’t think it’s necessary to know all the songs beforehand, I do think it’s good to see more of their music and performances generally first.
Ive agreed, I am 43 y.o now and i discover BTS from the rapline solo's project AgustD 'Daechwita', ive been searching for the boys since then. I still have more to digest with the boys, i have many homeworks for their works (The BU contents), i am still watching their old MV, song and their debut performances over and over and over again then after that the live at MMA's, MAMA's and GDA's not to mentions their lives at AMA's, BBMA's and GRAMMY's. Their growth is massive and their production is getting better and better every years. Every part of the performance has more meaning if you know not only the songs, but the individual members, their talents, and their overall growth as a group. It's like being dropped off at the top of the mountain. Yes, the view is amazing, but unless you start from the bottom you"ll miss the wildflowers, cute animals, waterfalls, and the changing scenery on your way up. I realize I'm getting into cheesy territory here, but I feel the experience is better if you view the award show performances in order. Each one gets better and better. But having said that, I understand Elizabeth's point of view - how could you not love them after that?!! It is one of my most favorite things to watch reactors see this epic performance. Jungkook (JK) is literally THE Harmony and AB Lib King…He is the main vocalist of the group for a reason. His vocal range is insane. They all are so phenomenal at what they do and each bring their own style to the group. You will NEVER react to a more humble and down to earth group of guys. They are so unserious, hilarious, and just so relatable.
Believe me, all four vocalists - Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook - can hit those high notes with ease! There's a beautiful ballad titled "Your Eyes Tell" that JK helped compose (it was supposed to be on his solo album, but BigHit submitted the melody to a Japanese film company looking for a theme song for their movie and they wanted it!) that really highlights their beautiful falsetto voices The song is sung completely in Japanese, and only live versions are available on UA-cam, but there are ones with English subtitles so just add that to your search. The lyrics were rewritten to reflect the theme of the movie, a boxer trying to earn money for the young woman he falls in love with, to pay for surgery she needs because she is slowly going blind
Yes, Jungkook is the one with purple hair. You will mostly see him doing background vocals and adlibs in their songs, he is the main vocalist and the youngest member. He also has the most stable voice out of all the vocalists...It's crazy to think that he was only 13 or 15 when he debuted...My bias indeed
Yes, JK became a trainee at 13 international age, and debuted with BTS at 15 yo. He is 25 now. Mind you in S Korea they have a different age counting. So they will call themselves 1 or 2 years older depending on the time of year.
When they were speaking, in between the songs, they were mostly goofing around while presenting the songs. For example, before they performed UGH, V was pretending to be a a radio host or something and introducing the rap members by saying "now, the best rappers in the world", that's why Suga, RM and J Hope were cracking up, not taking it seriously (although I'm pretty sure V truly does consider them the best). Then they were pushing each other around and saying nonesense like "what's with that shirt, it looks silly", pretending to be "picking up a fight" (because the song is a commentary about "anger" as an emotion), and then Suga was asking "where's the camera, gotta look at the camera" before the song started and they switched to performance mode. So, all their little talks were random stuff like that.
You guys have no idea how funny they are. So much talent, role models, good human beings you want to be around and influenced by. Inspiring, relatable, makes you laugh and just all around feel good vibes. Its a long an deep rabbit hole
Jungkook is the main vocalist because of his stability and natural gift! He didn’t plan on being the main vocalist, it was something that just happened & was clearly well deserved. His adlibs and harmonizations are absolutely amazing. He’s also known for having perfect pitch! Him & J-hope are known as the “golden” members. They are the only ones who sing, rap, and dance. Vocal line- Jin,jimin,v,jungkook Jin can do high falsetto and his vocal range is insane...very soulful Jimin can do high pitched song... his voice feels like angel V has a ocean deep voice...if you ever listen his solo songs...you will get goosebumps for sure Jungkook has a very sweet voice..he can sing high pitched falsetto very effortlessly..he is a vocal genius Rapline line - Suga,jhope, RM Suga's raw rap...it's like spitting truth...his flow is no joke Jhope has very upbeat raps...you feel energetic RM's raps are very tricky ones...he is a legit genius...his raps,his flows..everything is very intellectual...a true rapper can study his raps deeply... Jungkook (the purple hair guy), He’s their main vocalist. He usually gets the most part cause his technique, his pronunciation, key and the ad-libs he gives too to enhance all their vocals is perfect. His voice is layered in all of their songs & his voice color fits any genre perfectly. You can always hear a little bit of JK’s voice under all of the members because he does the adlibs, the harmonizations. Most of the time Bts songs doesn’t let him show his full potential tbh. Since he can easily slide up and down with his range, they almost always use him like a bridge between tae’s deep tone and jin&jimin’s high tone. Because of that, he doesn’t always gets to show the highlights in his voice in their music. ( like his ability of doing high notes or his rich lower register, or his actual voice tone that has a little bit of rasp). That’s why i can’t wait for his solo album. He has so much to offer in terms of vocals. If u guys want, you can check out his solo songs My Time, Euphoria, Still With You. Also his covers Falling, Lost Stars, Only Then, U2 etc.
I always appreciate jungkook vocals ,he is really best vocalists specially i have seen him in "ON" song he's hight was amezin and also he's aidlid was good 👍which is not many people have heard. I'm super excited for his solo hope he shows all his vocal talent.
14:16 yeah Jungkook, the baby, is actually the main vocalist, that's his official position and his members are really proud of him :) he's always singing in his freetime, he's really passionate about it. main vocal means he records all the guide tracks for the members and he usually sings the most difficult parts, he is the most stable vocalist during hard choreo so you will see jungkook be used for the sections with hardests choreo. there is no jealousie or resentment about this btw, all of them have very specific roles and very specific strenghts and weaknesses that they all acknowledge. that's why they are such an amazing team

The last song was Telepathy, which is kinda them at this stage. They’ve pretty much lived together for most of the last 12 years, sharing one bedroom (and one bathroom) in a tiny, very basic apartment for most of the first four years. They’ve each also had their own properties for the last two or three years, but they only gave up having a group ‘dorm’ this year (if dorm is the right term for a $6+million apartment). They are beyond close. The song was written by Suga, who was sat on the couch at the right at the beginning. To be honest, you’ve still barely touched the surface…. there’s so much still to come, and it will take you to some very unexpected, sometimes very dark places. Their discography will shake you. I kinda envy your journey… I’d love to relive it.

The festa isnt technically a live performance its basically an anniversary gift to fans and themselves for that years anniversary ( like the one u watched was for their 8th year anniversary as a group) which they also follow up doing a one hour+ dinner celebration where the members tells stories, talk about their goals and achievements and their time as a group going down memory lane. For 2022 you could watch the Proof Live performance. Festa is a celebration of BTS' anniversary and it spans over several days. Usually, the main video is the Festa Dinner, but I don't recommend watching that, because it's only them talking about the year that went by or discuss changes and upcoming plans. It's really meant for ARMY as a sort of more personal chat. So I would definitely leave that for the times when you'll know them well and understand their background and stuff. Otherwise, it would probably just be confusing 😅. But they usually also do some sort of live performance for Festa and the one you just watched was one of them. Proof Live is another and it features new songs from their 2022 Proof anthology album.

Green Sweater guy is V. He is an actor and only baritone vocalist in the group. In Kpop industry, baritone vocals are so rare and everyone is Tenor vocalists. Most of the baritones are rapper becoz of their low and deep tone. But V can go both high and very low tones. He is the rare gem.
All arw rwspectively strong in their chosen position may it be vocalist or rapper V - has a deep voice, perfecr blend with higher pitch Jimin or Jin. But can also definitely hit the high note. Widest range of vocals. Soft baritone. Jimin - his voice is soft and delicately unique, has a thin high vocals, and can reach really high notes. His background adlibs are amazing since it compliments almost everyone's parts. Jungkook - main vocalist, he has the most stable voice, can reach high notes, mid range most of the time. Makes the voice guide and harmonies for almost all songs. Jin - his high notes are amazing, impressive from someone who just learned singing at the age of 18-19 when he joined Big Hit. Experts acclaim him to have a 'silver voice' because of his high note stability. Rm - underground rapper, known for his poetry wordplay, they are heartfelt. Aggressive rapper. His lyrics are beautiful. Suga - more aggressive and more raw since his lyrics are mostly direct compared with Rm's. No sugar coating jist a direct kill. Also an underground rapper. Jhope - main dancer that's his expertise. Only learned rapping while training with rm and suga. He has now his own style and also can do vocals. All of them are also an accomplished solo artists and has their own individual achievements. 🥰
One of the things I love about BTS is theyre unapologetically themselves on and off camera. One of the many things that impress me about BTS is how great they are live! IF you want more live, you can watch their Tiny Desk Concert (done when the pandemic hit), and even the one where they covered FIX YOU by Coldplay. It was so good I cry everytime! lol but I truly cant wait for you to watch their explosive performances where they dance too. These guys are extremely hardworking its insane. Jungkook is actually is the main singer and vocalist. He has a lot of parts like RM said and that without him they would be nothing basically. V also is a strong singer. The whole vocal line is strong. When you get a chance watch the video about Jungkook the main vocalists. It’s all about him but you need to watch the vocalist live. I recommend house of cards, the truth untold, stigma, my time, Euphoria, serendipity and the tiny desk concert live to name a few.

V is our king of unpredictablity. He just has a uniqe way to deal with things or look at them with his own kind of perspective, sometimes to a point that people getting to know him think he's overdoing it for attention, but it's just the way he is. Even his band members had these feelings at the beginning. You can be sure that the things he did in this vid were not planned out, he just came up with them. As a small example, they decided this year to have each one a member tattoo, a 7 somewhere on their body, each one where he likes it. Suga has his behind his ear near the hair nearly invisible, Jungkook visibe behind his ear, j-hope as the dancer he is has it on his Achilles tendon, RM on his anckle, Jimin on his pinky and Jin on one back side above his hip. All different 7s but just 7s. And then there is V, his one is upside down and looks like someone took a sharpie and set it between two moles, it looks like eyes and a nose. (There was an elephant joke done by him with these moles once, he also gives his pimples names when they occur). We are still not sure as a fandom if that's really the real tattoo, or if he just fools us.

V is very unique. He lives in “Tae Tae World.” (His real name is Taehyung and the guys sometimes call him Tae Tae.) RM calls him a rascal. J-Hope is the Dance Leader and our “sunshine.” That’s why he’s always dancing around. I won’t go into everyone’s personality. You can see for yourself.
Lemme tell you, they literally plan everything about songs and choreo but the other 90 percent of things which is moving around, doing little choreo, playing around with eachother, even if they plan, nothing goes by plan. They're always spontaneous and goofy and jhope, jin are always goofier and the reason they're goofier is to keep the team's spirits up. They're the people that effect and control the mood of the team
You guys did great with names. The funny thing about V is that ANYTIME they are doing something unscripted/unchoreographed, there will undoubtedly be at least once or twice when you think, “what is V doing?” He is the mostly delightfully weird guy (in a good way!). 💜

So true. Also, all four vocalists have insanely high range. What a "coincidence" that they do, especially since none of them (except JK) originally planned to be singers before auditioning for Big Hit. Honestly, they're all pretty impressive singers:
JK is the main vocalist, he's always ad-libbing, riffing, and handling a lot of the choruses. He has an absolute killer voice.
Jimin is the lead vocalist, he’s known for the high notes (he's a pure tenor and his voice is very unique so it tends to cut through the melody quite often)
Jin in my opinion, has the best belts. He can hold a sustained note like nobodies business, and his vocal range is ridiculously impressive.
V is the vocal lines baritone, his tonal quality is also very unique. He often handles bridges cuz his voice has this ability to just pull it all together
Jimin is a counter tenor, the highest of the four male voice types. They've all extended their range (distinct from their voice type) quite a bit through practice.

Rookies learn his expressions and moves and 8 out of 10 said V is their idol. That’s why V’s also called “Rookies’s Textbook”, “Idol of Idols”. V is spontaneously funny without even trying. He usually cracks jokes with a serious face 🤣 so sometimes people don't know if he is actually being serious. WATCH MMA 2019 BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!! I am a 49 year old mother from Arkansas. I discovered BTS this year. After watching the full MMA 2019 performance, I was an instant ARMY. Each and every member of BTS are so incredibly talented. Beyond that, these are seven of the purest souls that are truly filled with genuine love. They work hard and try to be good people and role models. That is something rare in this world.
I don't agree. Don't watch it first. Watch them in order. However, it is one of their best. But it's great to watch them and the production get better year by year. Plus you have watched so few of their songs. Get a lot of songs under your belt. Learn their names. Good job. And then when the time is right Feast your eyes on the most unbelievable production. It's just an award show. But their performance takes up half of the show!
I also disagree. So much other amazing stuff to watch before you get to the absolute creme de la creme of performances. While I don’t think it’s necessary to know all the songs beforehand, I do think it’s good to see more of their music and performances generally first.

Ive agreed, I am 43 y.o now and i discover BTS from the rapline solo's project AgustD 'Daechwita', ive been searching for the boys since then. I still have more to digest with the boys, i have many homeworks for their works (The BU contents), i am still watching their old MV, song and their debut performances over and over and over again then after that the live at MMA's, MAMA's and GDA's not to mentions their lives at AMA's, BBMA's and GRAMMY's. Their growth is massive and their production is getting better and better every years. Every part of the performance has more meaning if you know not only the songs, but the individual members, their talents, and their overall growth as a group. It's like being dropped off at the top of the mountain. Yes, the view is amazing, but unless you start from the bottom you"ll miss the wildflowers, cute animals, waterfalls, and the changing scenery on your way up. I realize I'm getting into cheesy territory here, but I feel the experience is better if you view the award show performances in order. Each one gets better and better. But having said that, I understand Elizabeth's point of view - how could you not love them after that?!! It is one of my most favorite things to watch reactors see this epic performance. I do hope they'll explore more of their discography, personalities and live performances first though.

Jungkook (JK) is literally THE Harmony and AB Lib King…He is the main vocalist of the group for a reason. His vocal range is insane. They all are so phenomenal at what they do and each bring their own style to the group. You will NEVER react to a more humble and down to earth group of guys. They are so unserious, hilarious, and just so relatable.

There's a beautiful ballad titled "Your Eyes Tell" that JK helped compose (it was supposed to be on his solo album, but BigHit submitted the melody to a Japanese film company looking for a theme song for their movie and they wanted it!) that really highlights their beautiful falsetto voices
The song is sung completely in Japanese, and only live versions are available on UA-cam, but there are ones with English subtitles so just add that to your search. The lyrics were rewritten to reflect the theme of the movie, a boxer trying to earn money for the young woman he falls in love with, to pay for surgery she needs because she is slowly going blind
They're better live in general anyway, so I don't think we're missing out by not having a studio version. And it's a gorgeous song.

Yes, JK became a trainee at 13 international age, and debuted with BTS at 15 yo. He is 25 now.
Mind you in S Korea they have a different age counting. So they will call themselves 1 or 2 years older depending on the time of year.

When they were speaking, in between the songs, they were mostly goofing around while presenting the songs. For example, before they performed UGH, V was pretending to be a a radio host or something and introducing the rap members by saying "now, the best rappers in the world", that's why Suga, RM and J Hope were cracking up, not taking it seriously (although I'm pretty sure V truly does consider them the best). Then they were pushing each other around and saying nonesense like "what's with that shirt, it looks silly", pretending to be "picking up a fight" (because the song is a commentary about "anger" as an emotion), and then Suga was asking "where's the camera, gotta look at the camera" before the song started and they switched to performance mode. So, all their little talks were random stuff like that.
You guys have no idea how funny they are. So much talent, role models, good human beings you want to be around and influenced by. Inspiring, relatable, makes you laugh and just all around feel good vibes. Its a long an deep rabbit hole

He usually gets the most part cause his technique, his pronunciation, key and the ad-libs he gives too to enhance all their vocals is perfect. His voice is layered in all of their songs & his voice color fits any genre perfectly. You can always hear a little bit of JK’s voice under all of the members because he does the adlibs, the harmonizations. Most of the time Bts songs doesn’t let him show his full potential tbh. Since he can easily slide up and down with his range, they almost always use him like a bridge between tae’s deep tone and jin&jimin’s high tone. Because of that, he doesn’t always gets to show the highlights in his voice in their music. ( like his ability of doing high notes or his rich lower register, or his actual voice tone that has a little bit of rasp). That’s why i can’t wait for his solo album. He has so much to offer in terms of vocals. If u guys want, you can check out his solo songs My Time, Euphoria, Still With You. Also his covers Falling, Lost Stars, Only Then, U2 etc.
I always appreciate jungkook vocals ,he is really best vocalists specially i have seen him in "ON" song he's hight was amezin and also he's aidlid was good 👍which is not many people have heard. I'm super excited for his solo hope he shows all his vocal talent.
14:16 yeah Jungkook, the baby, is actually the main vocalist, that's his official position and his members are really proud of him :) he's always singing in his freetime, he's really passionate about it. main vocal means he records all the guide tracks for the members and he usually sings the most difficult parts, he is the most stable vocalist during hard choreo so you will see jungkook be used for the sections with hardests choreo.
there is no jealousie or resentment about this btw, all of them have very specific roles and very specific strenghts and weaknesses that they all acknowledge. that's why they are such an amazing team

The last song was Telepathy, which is kinda them at this stage. They’ve pretty much lived together for most of the last 12 years, sharing one bedroom (and one bathroom) in a tiny, very basic apartment for most of the first four years. They’ve each also had their own properties for the last two or three years, but they only gave up having a group ‘dorm’ this year (if dorm is the right term for a $6+million apartment). They are beyond close. The song was written by Suga, who was sat on the couch at the right at the beginning.

The festa isnt technically a live performance its basically an anniversary gift to fans and themselves for that years anniversary ( like the one u watched was for their 8th year anniversary as a group) which they also follow up doing a one hour+ dinner celebration where the members tells stories, talk about their goals and achievements and their time as a group going down memory lane. It all uncut and its nice to see the members all just talk and bond and reminisce about old times especially considering some fans have been with them since the beginning

For 2022 you could watch the Proof Live performance. Festa is a celebration of BTS' anniversary and it spans over several days. Usually, the main video is the Festa Dinner, but I don't recommend watching that, because it's only them talking about the year that went by or discuss changes and upcoming plans. It's really meant for ARMY as a sort of more personal chat. So I would definitely leave that for the times when you'll know them well and understand their background and stuff. Otherwise, it would probably just be confusing 😅. But they usually also do some sort of live performance for Festa and the one you just watched was one of them. Proof Live is another and it features new songs from their 2022 Proof anthology album.
I wouldn’t recommend Proof Live until they learn more about BTS’s history to fully appreciate how meaningful the songs are to both BTS and ARMY. 💜

Jungkook - main vocalist, he has the most stable voice, can reach high notes, mid range most of the time. Makes the voice guide and harmonies for almost all songs.
Jin - his high notes are amazing, impressive from someone who just learned singing at the age of 18-19 when he joined Big Hit. Experts acclaim him to have a 'silver voice' because of his high note stability.
Rm - underground rapper, known for his poetry wordplay, they are heartfelt. Aggressive rapper. His lyrics are beautiful.
Suga - more aggressive and more raw since his lyrics are mostly direct compared with Rm's. No sugar coating jist a direct kill. Also an underground rapper.
Jhope - main dancer that's his expertise. Only learned rapping while training with rm and suga. He has now his own style and also can do vocals.
All of them are also an accomplished solo artists and has their own individual achievements. 🥰

One of the many things that impress me about BTS is how great they are live! IF you want more live, you can watch their Tiny Desk Concert (done when the pandemic hit), and even the one where they covered FIX YOU by Coldplay. It was so good I cry everytime! lol but I truly cant wait for you to watch their explosive performances where they dance too. These guys are extremely hardworking its insane.

Jungkook is actually is the main singer and vocalist. He has a lot of parts like RM said and that without him they would be nothing basically. V also is a strong singer. The whole vocal line is strong. When you get a chance watch the video about Jungkook the main vocalists. It’s all about him but you need to watch the vocalist live. I recommend house of cards, the truth untold, stigma, my time, Euphoria, serendipity and the tiny desk concert live to name a few.

V is our king of unpredictablity. He just has a uniqe way to deal with things or look at them with his own kind of perspective, sometimes to a point that people getting to know him think he's overdoing it for attention, but it's just the way he is. Even his band members had these feelings at the beginning. You can be sure that the things he did in this vid were not planned out, he just came up with them.
As a small example, they decided this year to have each one a member tattoo, a 7 somewhere on their body, each one where he likes it. Suga has his behind his ear near the hair nearly invisible, Jungkook visibe behind his ear, j-hope as the dancer he is has it on his Achilles tendon, RM on his anckle, Jimin on his pinky and Jin on one back side above his hip. All different 7s but just 7s. And then there is V, his one is upside down and looks like someone took a sharpie and set it between two moles, it looks like eyes and a nose. (There was an elephant joke done by him with these moles once, he also gives his pimples names when they occur). We are still not sure as a fandom if that's really the real tattoo, or if he just fools us.
People were speculating that he got it on his thigh from the v x vogue pictures. The upside down 7 was just a marker drawing. King of unpredictability indeed lol.

I love and support all 7 but I would never have become an ARMY if not for V. Sure he's funny, goofy, handsome, multitalented and all that, but what really struck out to me was his personality. He just seemed so genuine. I find it the most striking out of all the other member’s. I’ve always had a thing for artsy person, you know, and he’s very fond of art and he has great taste in Music and Fashion. He’s so open-minded and I love his being a free spirit.
