Amazing video. Quickly becoming the top of the heap for SWGOH content. I can say my SK team is also my 2nd or 3rd best conquest team, even with Starkiller only taking 1 or 2 turns in the whole battle lol. Dash does well as a scoundrel placeholder lead for me. He leads whatever Scoundrels I don't have a better home for (like my Executor reqs). KK is a really dynamic character, gets holds for me with an 80k MM team (a 270 spd KK with Rebel Fighters is likely outspeeding 90% of Pietts) and I've also had success with Bastilla lead in 3s. SK in 3s is even more of a god imo, especially behind Savage omi. Jumped quite a bit in GAC once I got him a few months back, currently Aurodium 3 at 4m w/ SEE, Exec, Malak and SK. Looking forward to trying Aphra at some point this year. Keep up the great content!
I do believe Krrsantan is just called out in Aphras kit for lore reasons. The poor wookie just loses too many stats and abilities when he is not with his Hutt Cartel friends
SK is my favourite SW character ever, when I started the game the first thing I did was checking how to get him. I got my heart crushed learning that he was not really an early game thing, however I'm slotting him in probably a bit earlier than it's wise, especially with the accelerated drops and the calendars recently. I built Talon to r5 because I needed her for the DR team, then I'm doing MJ now to r5 too in order to have the Empire team viable. However, as a 2.5M gp account with the Revans, Malak, couple of relic Empire and BHs + geos, it's not time to work on the other 2 SK requirements just yet. Current project is CLS, then JKL(Wampa is already relic and rocking though, don't worry), then I'll take a chance to build Old Ben for the JKR+JKL SLKR counter and for the SK team later. After that, it'll be Executor and then finally SK before completing the first part of my path with JML. I think that all things considered I may be getting SK at around 3.5M gp or so
I am somewhere on the final edge of mid-game and I think of SK as a bonus character/side project. I'm getting my Mara and Talon geared up slowly now because they have accelerated drop rates and I have Malgus. I have absolutely no business getting Kyle or Dash because my roster isn't built to support them right now. Eventually I'll get them and when I do Starkiller is the bonus I get for focusing on those.
I think SK is definitely not a First Farm whatsoever. I do think he makes a lot of sense though as a mid game acquirement due to how "fast" he is. His requirements really compliment JML for example (down to that lonely relic Vader having Talon for some extra speed).
SK made perfect sense for me after I got SLKR, SEE, JMK, Exec, LV, Profundity and then JML. By that time, you have where to plug in SK's requirement characters and you get a mini GL for a third of the cost.
@@phatphil117 thanks, I feel the same. The decision was made easier by me playing for around 4 years now, so the farms were spread out in time, always trying to weave one into the other, for efficiency.
Been playing for 16 months. Starkiller took my account to a new level. Beat normal conquest today for the first time thanks to him. Shot up to chromium 2 and am fighting ppl double my GP in ga because I got so many useful teams from him.

If I may, I'd appreciate a suggestion for where I must priorize now. I am f2P. Currently, I am working on Inqs (not 7* yet), for Reeva shards. But...I am very close to 2 characters. SK and JKL. Just need Kyle relics and JTR WHich one should I go? I don't have Juhani at relics, neither her Omni. My Visas is 4 * only... Would SK still be worth where I am now, with JTR and Old Ben? Or should I focus on JKL, then JML (my 4th GL) ? and then work on Juhani and Visas? (after Inqs)
I'm thinking of farming Starkiller after i finished the executor, since almost all the requirements are usefull for my roster, Mara with empire and then with starkiller, I have relic sith trio so Talon helps, and Dash i could use it with the Bando team, Kyle i don't have Mon but any Jedi/rebel team gonna do it. For the Starkiller team, I would need Visas, don't know if relic her or just G12, since I think a better light UFU is gonna come, for jedi, gonna use Windu(JMK requirement) and Juhani(TW)

I think a lot of people are going for Starkiller way too early, he's better in a roster where his requirements help fill in the gaps left by completing other journeys. I have yet to see and Aphra in the wild so it's hard to say, but her requirements being the characters that slot into her eventual team might make going for her after your first or second GL a good idea.
If you have a decent MM, Sith Empire/Triumvirate, EP empire and Scoundrel squads then it's best to get SK. All his farms will boost the aforementioned squads. Aphra's farm doesn't have that versatility.
I don’t disagree with anything you said about SK, but that being said he is still the first big farm I am going for. Gonna be done in about a month and just hit lvl 85 in mid November

Yeah if your definition of midgame is "4 million till 3 GLs" then no you need a few of these backbone teams in GAC, if your recommended fashion would be SLKR>GML>Executor>JMK/LV/Jabba then starkiller's requirments are not sitting on the wayside you need rebel fighters for GML(so Kyle has a home), a lot of empire units for exec(and its your first faction you rec getting up) so Mara has a home, you can slot Talon in Darth Revan rather easily and then we got Dash who you might just build up for the Outrider. So your argument of "you need to build new squads isnt entirely there, and would be applied to half of Aphra's requirments anyways. Now I also dont entirely think Aphra's requirments compare: Mara Talon Dash and Kyle all elevate teams entire tiers above the rankings w/o SK, the Aphra requirments w/o Aphra blow(minus Starros) And idk about you but SK is a unit Id just happen to get because I built his requirments rather than a unit I built requirments for(akin to Chewie in a way) If it were up to me Id say, since they are both backbone teams to a GAC roster, farm at least one of them after your big ship or GL farm so either mid or early game
Hey disagreements allowed here, will say kyle without the optimal rebel fighter team is lackluster and dash with outrider is okay until you get profundity. The argument I’m making is Starkiller won’t help you outside of TW and GAC and even then you need Omicrons for him to work well. Aphra can be used in so many more ways because she’s purely darkside based. I just think there are better early investments than these farms right now.

So wouldnt doing better in GAC matter a bit more than TB? Plus there are much better ways to take care of DS Geo TB(GG seps, Geos, DR, Empire, IT) This also doesnt help that Starkiller reliably takes out a few GLs(Rey, SLKR, SEE and Ive seen some GML and Jabba setups) while Aphra only really beats Jabba from what I have seen Tho ig it depends on perspective: I see GAC as the most important gamemode, which could very well be why I like starkiller.
@@fate8718 Id say aphra and Starkiller are on equal ground as far as GAC viability goes. For me farming is all about getting more with less. I have Starkiller but definitely only use him for GAC. Most important game mode is probably fleet arena since it’s more consistent crystals than GAC. Conquest also deserves a shout due to how long it takes to farm those characters if you miss out
@@phatphil117 I agree with the farming is "more for less" however heavily disagree with the Aphra = Starkiller While Aphra is a top 15 team she is also new and we are only starting to learn her, Starkiller has been around for a minute and almost requires a GL to take out(unless you have a really good GG Seps) The fact he can be used on offense and defense is also better than the only offense Aphra Now in terms of gamemode, idk if its Fleet arena thanks to you getting more in GAc regularly and CQ while super important doesnt feed the most important income in the game
@@fate8718 Thing with GAC is eventually you’ll hit that wall of winning as much as you lose so crystals sort of even out. Fleet arena always hits for 400 for me.
I thought Aphra did have 3v3 as well. Overall Aphra>Starkiller because she’s just as effective in other gamemodes whereas Starkiller outside of GAC is mediocre to bad.

Can’t argue when you want your favorite character, my advice is almost always catered to competitive nature but fun should take priority

Only reason I say late game is that’s when players have more flexibility to build the supporting squads for dash and Kyle

JKL he'll provide you a lot more in terms of beating the assault battle and being an overall better character in TB, conquest, etc.

I think right now yes but we've known them to go back and add things to make characters relevant with a certain squad.

Correct, GLs normally have a few horrid requirements but they're offset by having an amazing character across a lot of game modes
