Yes, being at mermaid megafest I felt some mertailor tails, and they were squishy.
By the way, it has decent propulsion. Not the same propulsion you would get from a plastic fin though

I actually love the propulsion this fun gives me! It feels very organic 💙 and I haven’t found the lack of drainage holes to be an issue, as the silicone forms a suction around my feet very well!
accioashley agreed and the silicone mermaid tail skin is amazing it's feels like a second skin like ur a really real mermaid

I seem to be the only one who doesn't like the floppiness, especially underwater. I absolutely adore the colours and fluke shape, and the idea of a silicone monofin, but ah man.. it's so wiggly..

I like the floppy ones because you get a smoother swim. It also feels easier to move around in the water
I love the big flop because it makes the swim look smooth and looks less stiff
I'm sure that chuncky part near ur anckles is the spot where the silicone gets poured into the fluke mold

I love how the floppiness makes it look more like how a natural tail would flop instead of the often unnatural stiffness to flukes
I have one. It has good propulsion and is very comfy.
These are heavy on land but in the water they lighten up. I love this blue monofin, I got the purple one. I don’t know much about repairing tails, but maybe you could add some silipoxy on the inside of that thin spot, if you feel like it could tear later on. It’s probably best to ask him though. I also got lots of cat hair stuck to my fin.

HAHA! Thank you for that! ♥ A lot of mers like to start with a Facebook Event and share it with other mers in their pod. Pick a time and a place, make sure it's safe and allows tails and away you go!
Two years later, I'm coming in to ask about the thickness. You pointed out that one foot pocket was thinner than the other.. Did it ever cause you an issue and/or did you get the issue resolved through mertailor?
Oh...that fin is very floppy...I hope his other fins are more firm? I wouldn't mind if the very tips were floppy, but I have concerns for swimming in something so jelly-like...

Hello Courtney! I've been looking to paint my very own mermaid tail but I was wondering if the smallest can of paint that Permaset sells could be used to paint a whole tail?
I couldn't tell you for sure. It's going to depend on how big the tail is. I also tend to mix a lot of my colours so I have never tried to use only one colour to do a whole tail. Good luck though! ♥

My question is since I have a Black Fin Fun Monofin Pro, what fin do you think is the next step up from mine that I said above seeing how I’m a beginner Merfairy?
Because when I can I’m thinking of getting my next tail set in Blue to match my favorite Element of Water seeing how my Mer name and Mersona is Tauriel The Element Merfairy.

Hi Tauriel! It depends on what tail you are planning on getting next and what monofin it uses. If you are planning on continuing on with FinFun then I would stick with the monofins that they sell. If you are going to try a different tail from a different company/maker then you might need to research what fins they use. ♥
Courtney Mermaid , Well since I’m a Beginner Merfairy and I’m a Element Merfairy my First tail set is based on my favorite color of Blue and matching my favorite Element of Water so that’s why I picked my Arctic Blue set from Fin Fun.
I would like to be able to get a different tail set still in Blue to still match my favorite color of Blue and matching my favorite Element of Water since I’m not ready yet to change the color and the matching element.
I still would like to get a few other things to go with my tail set that I have now when I can since I’m on SSD and I only get one check each month to live off from so that’s why I was asking what fabric tail company do you recommend next as a second tail set after I have the other things that I would like to be able to get to go with my tail set that I have now.
If you think that Sun Tail Mermaid is similar to Fin Fun then I’ll go with Sun Tail Mermaid as my next tail set to go with next when I can and after I have the other things that I would like to be able to get to go with my tail set that I have now.
