Yes; its wrong. If you wouldnt do it to a human animal dont do it to any species of animal. Breeding is wrong. The automatic separation of family is wrong. An excited “hello” can become a full scale fight with multiple dog involvement in a split second. Play can become dangerous quickly, which is why they say “three’s a crowd” where i work. 2 dogs playing can be positive and healthy, even if correction is needed on either party at times, the moment a third or more is involved, it becomes much harder to “police”

MasterTobiification The dogs also might’ve gotten into trouble, even though they are related. I’m sure they had their reasons to keep them on leash, if they released all of them Bess may have been overwhelmed by all the dogs.
They need to use prong collars on dogs this size, an excited dog will always pull no matter the training unless they have spent time in military style training which is rare.
Also, aren’t owners supposed to loosen the leash? Like, when I was doing dog training one thing they told me was that when you allow the dog to pull it increases their chance of attacking because they feel restricted and scared.

This is exactly the story of my dog Shilo. He is a rescue dog. His mother, a beautiful Border Collie was found on the side of the road after giving birth to 4 puppies. She and the puppies were brought to boarding kennels to be looked after. We found out about them on Facebook and we went out to see the puppies. We immediately fell in love with Shilo and brought him home. Shilo's mother was called Lucy and we were delighted to find out that she and the other puppies, all boys, were found wonderful loving forever homes too. Coming up to their first birthday I, with the lady who rescued Lucy and the puppies, arranged a 1st birthday reunion at a local beach to celebrate the day. It was amazing. All the brothers recognised each other instantly and started playing with each other. It was so great. Then Lucy arrived. She instantly went into Mother mode. She ran up to each of her puppies and started licking and fussing all over them making sure that they were all OK. Of course the boys were all delighted to see their mother again and they all made a big fuss of her too. They had an hour playing together on the beach and even a specially made birthday cake which lasted all of about 30 seconds! Even the local newspaper wrote about the story. It really was a wonderful day. That was 5 and a half years ago. We still have Shilo. He's lying on the chair next to me fast asleep. He's a brilliant and beautiful dog in every way. He's the absolute perfect mix of love and fun. A real furry angel. I love him so much and I am so glad he is such a wonderful part of my life.
Nicky OldfieldDesciple that’s awesome. We went to our local shelter and saw these two beautiful puppies and they were brothers and sisters. But we didn’t want to get one and leave the other. We decided to give them a week and then come back.2 days later we found out that the puppies found their loving homes. They both went to the same homes
But if you give them too much freedom, they might have a revolution and think of themselves as equals to their owners. The mistakes of the past cannot be repeated again.

Christian Brady I’m not stupid. But clearly you are, you never know how an animal could react, they aren’t monsters, it’s just apart of nature. If your dumb enough to not know about nature and how it works. Then don’t go screaming at me idiot. Do you think the dogs would know their mother when they last all together when they were newborns? No probably not. It’s like if you were just born and then put up for adoption because your parents couldn’t care for you. A couple weeks or days or months later you get adopted. Your probably going to live your whole life not knowing who your parents are if you wanted to know or not. This is not a Disney movie so pls shut the hell up.
Nojorooney Man dogs are smart
Anyone else think to themselves, "what have we done to dog families?" They clearly recognize each other. Beautiful video I just hope we aren't judged too harshly.
What have we done to our families....
@J Cripps degredation is not evolution.
I once took my dog (three years later) to see her mom
They did not recognize each other at all
@@crazykids6704 They didn't here either.
They just... acted like dogs? lol.
People can't stop putting their human brains into dogs.
Doesn't work like that.
Yes; its wrong. If you wouldnt do it to a human animal dont do it to any species of animal. Breeding is wrong. The automatic separation of family is wrong.
Humans are animals; they forget this or arent taught it. Imagine having large canines feed and let you out. Being separated from mum. Spayed / neutered. And ppl wonder why they dont live long. That and bad greed driven veterinary care.
God bless all the families who adopted those babies and everyone in the comments. 💕🙏🏽
This video has succeeded in making me cry on the toilet, which hasn’t happened since that spicy chili back in 2012
hahahahah

All I can hear was "Babies!!" "Mama !!".It made me happy and cry a little. The emotions of joy are overwhelming.
They are just stupid dogs not people.
Steve Runyon so if you were a dog and I called you stupid and let’s throw into the mix beat u, would you not feel it? Would you not feel the pain? Exactly so stfu
Same just a dog bro.loser
The entire party scene I'm like "LET HER SEE HER KIDS, DAMMIT!" XD
Spidey Viewer lmao
I’m so happy Bess was rescued and all her puppies survived and had so much love and care! It was so beautiful to see them all reunited with their mom and siblings! It proves how truly wonderful some people are! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing story with us!
This is one of the sweetest most joyful most heart-warming videos I've seen on The Dodo. To the selfless family who rescued Bess & her 12 babies, to ALL of the dear families who gave loving homes to these precious angels & to ALL who made this sweet reunion possible, from my heart, I thank you. God bless you.💕💕🙏💕💕
💛
God loves dogs
I love how they were all dragging their owners by the leash 😂
Bess must be such a proud mom ❤️
How is it enjoyable seeing dogs drag their owners around? And I’m not trying to be snarky or rude I’m just genuinely asking to see your point of you because how I see it as a dog trainer and behaviorist every single one of those dogs had reactivity and half of those dogs wanted to pick a fight or dominate so I kind of just wanna see your point of you on it because I know a lot of people think just like you and I think completely differently I would love to hear different opinions
@@romeliaanddixie
You’re wrong and always be wrong. It’s enjoyable because those dogs are all excited to reunite with their mom.
@@romeliaanddixie Ofc, everyone in a youtube-commentsection is randomly a dog-trainer. Its obvious that these dogs dont want to fight eachother, they want to play, sniff and zoom around. No one is beeing agressive or smth.
@@scareprankcreepypasta6716 hi, also a dog trainer, yknow, for my paid job, there are definitely some tensions there, in some scenes some of the dogs have their hackles raised, and also for all the “just let them off leash already” comments, with the sheer amount of high energy dogs? An excited “hello” can become a full scale fight with multiple dog involvement in a split second. Play can become dangerous quickly, which is why they say “three’s a crowd” where i work. 2 dogs playing can be positive and healthy, even if correction is needed on either party at times, the moment a third or more is involved, it becomes much harder to “police”
Awww..Momma Bess, your reunion with your cutee puppies is awesome & with happiness! This is truly a joy for fur family & thanks Dodo for this heartwarming post..!🐶👍❤❤❤
Sarimasu Very well said & i thank you!:))🙇♀️❤🐶

What incredible, compassionate and action based people you are. You take my breath away. A huge task to take on and one I am sure will be with you all your lives. We tend to forget what amazing people there are in our world. I am sure you have restored the faith of so many people. Thank You. 🐶🇦🇺👏🐾💗
Glad I’m not the only one who was thinking OMG let them of the leashes
MasterTobiification I mean they all look alike so if they don’t keep them on leashes they might not be able to tell who is who
Squidward Tentacles its call collars and nametags
MasterTobiification some people don’t have the money for that and only use the stuff the adoption person gave them.... it’s called saving money
Squidward Tentacles lol that super cheap of them and show how much they don’t care about there animals as it the only thing that save your dog from the pound and it only like $15 at Walmart
MasterTobiification The dogs also might’ve gotten into trouble, even though they are related. I’m sure they had their reasons to keep them on leash, if they released all of them Bess may have been overwhelmed by all the dogs.
Looks like a pit bull male dog was the father to the lab mother. Seven looks very pit bully.
Thought that too
Yeah. Definitely some kind of tanish pit bull
For sure. It seems impossible that it wasnt a pitbull
Surfview gross... all dogs must stay pure (fite me idc)
@@dreamsteal4773 mixed dogs are beautiful
the most amazing part is how they managed to find 12 different owners who all failed to teach their dogs how to walk on a leash
They need to use prong collars on dogs this size, an excited dog will always pull no matter the training unless they have spent time in military style training which is rare.
Prong collars are dangerous in dog socialization, as two dogs can get stuck to each other, causing both dogs to panic and just keep pulling
Also, aren’t owners supposed to loosen the leash? Like, when I was doing dog training one thing they told me was that when you allow the dog to pull it increases their chance of attacking because they feel restricted and scared.
Lol..my dogs have never used a leash everrr... so I wouldn't have had one on me lol
@@bigpapa1965 As long as you don't go out in public not a problem. Otherwise it's against the law lol

that was one of the most heartwarming and beautiful Dodo videos i have seen to date!
What a beautiful reunion I love dogs and animal lovers who have compassion
One of the most beautiful stories I have seen on Dodo!.. Tears of Joy and Smiles of Happiness. Mom and puppies were all given wonderful homes. Could not have asked for anything better. These pups were just beautiful. Loved the coloring and the markings on the pups too.
Momma must've been thinking "Oh my babies all my babies are here!!"
The first dark haired woman who had all pups at first is wonderful ❤❤❤and I love Bess which is my mum's name ❤❤❤
Omg. This brought happy tears to my eyes. I’m happy for all of them and I’m glad she got to see her babies again. 💕
To organize everyone to come and meet each other and the mother! What a beautiful thing to watch. Just lovely. Melted my heart.
When a group of people put in a full out effort, it creates a deep bond between them. Good for you that you saved these dogs who now bring you joy.
Hello Elizabeth how's the weather over there
Bringing smiles to people is truly noble work. Thank you
this is the absolute best thing i've seen on the internet
....wait, you havent seen the one where the Labrador daddy teaches his 8 pups to swim???
this was great, there should be more animal reunion events like this
Absolutely gorgeous dogs, every one of them. So fun to see them together.
So many precious lives saved! Look how beautiful and thriving all the babies and Mumma are doing! Very special episode! ❤Thank you for taking rescuing this incredible family xx
I can't even begin to describe what The Dodo and these uplifting stories mean to me! There is so much sadness in this world, so these stories are the much needed light at the end of the tunnel. We need more love and compassion! Thank you for brighten our days!
"Sweet and smart."
"Everyone is his best friend."
"Easygoing."
"He likes snacks."
Before they even said anything you can tell that dog is an overexcited shithead with owners that dont know how to train him lol

One of the most beautiful story that I've ever seen brought me to tears first sad then happy tears I was so happy to see all those dog's reunited with their mom.
A mom never forgets.
One time my mom forgot that my little sister was at daycare, and we were late when we picked her up.

G Lazarus NEVER!👍🏾
human moms dump their kids on someone else for daycare asap. moms are usually disorganized and stupid.
Holypikemanz damn, how were you raised?
This birthday family reunion is so touching. Thanks for showing us this Dodo.😭❤❤
you could clearly tell that all of these beautiful dogs knew who each
other was. Bess knew that those were her babies and they knew that
Bess was their mom!! beautiful family reunion!!
It’s rare to see families, who adopted puppies to raise them to get together to have the mother dog and her pups reunite like this. Very wholesome❤❤❤❤
Awwwww so so so cute ❤ what a lovely reunion
It bothers me that the entire time they are holding the puppies back from playing with each other tugging on the leash, I understand for like 2 minutes to be safe but their siblings come on let that momma run with her puppies.
They probably won't be able to identify which is their dog without the leash to distinguish them.
@@dhrgkbqxtjr2743 leave the leash on, but just let go of it.
They did go off there leash did you watch the end
@@geko_editz5839 they honestly didn't

One of the best story from dodo for sure.
A feeling of helping someone and getting to know how positive it turned out; everybody should get that feel. I think it's just godly.

What a beautiful story and what amazing people. Thanks for making me cry.
Profile picture?
I bet he gives you lots of kisses every day
I require the article please! :DD

Finally let them off leash, I was getting quite frustrated waiting for that to happen.
But if you give them too much freedom, they might have a revolution and think of themselves as equals to their owners. The mistakes
of the past cannot be repeated again.
