Only had mine for the last 2 years - but its my daily driver and I've put 35,000km on it in that time. Car has now done 256,000km in its 21years. Too good to park up - they need to live...
Alfa romeo is something very special cars especially with busso engines . Nowadays also Giulia and Stelvio is very interesting for ride , much more than germans
I've owned a 2.0 t spark and two 2.5 V6 versions. The 2.5 makes a similar noise to this GTA, and always wanted one at that time. If they had AWD I would've had one by now, absolutely beautiful car.
Love the genuine excitement and the mountain roads 👏 Four leaf clover shouldn’t be on the car, it’s not a quadrifoglio, it’s cooler and more special than that - it’s a GTA! And the Alfa badge should be proudly on the rear. Other than that, nice car and review! 👍
Was about to say the same thing - my GTA is one of the first (2002) and it has no QV badge either, and neither do any of the other 4 GTAs in my hometown (only about 100 ever came to Australia in total). However it seems that lots of people add the badge - but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Mind you, mine has had the Q2 diff and 330mm Brembo upgrade that came from factory on later cars, and has also had some of the other usual modifications like adjustable coilovers, sway bars, strut brace and SS custom exhaust. One other thing - I've never seen a GTA in white (body colour B pillar also isn't factory - should be black, and rims should be silver). However, I did previously own a white 2.5L - it is a colour that suits the 156. But mine is black on black. Can't vouch for the comfort in the back - no one has ever sat in the rear seat of mine! Sorry for my Alfisti nerd overload - but enjoyed the video regardless.
@@johnphaceas7434 you have 5 GTAs in the town where you live? 😲 Must be a record density for GTAs, I think in the past 5 years I've seen 2 or 3 other GTAs, and that was not near me, but on the road in the Netherlands (where probably a few hundred GTAs were sold in total).
@@kasimirdenhertog3516 Yep - there is a big Alfisti community here in Australia, and in every state capital such as my city of Perth. I know of two black GTAs, two red and one in that really exquisite metallic light blue/silver (not sure its official name). We also had an SZ and RZ here til about 2 years ago (both were sold and transported interstate), also at least two Junior Zagatos and one Montreal.
Looks beautiful in white - is it a respray? I’m sure somebody else will have said this but the cloverleaf badges are just stickers and it should have an Alfa badge on the boot/trunk. I’m also not a fan of adding the Q2 badge - I don’t think anyone cares if the car has a differential unless they’re driving it! But totally respect everyone feels differently about these things and they’re all signs the owner loves the car as they should. Love your review and enthusiasm too. Great job! Amazing car ❤️
Great video man! Thank you very much to have included a view of your footwork for the BMW review, it's so awesome to watch your exciting foot skills, you're a very good pilot man! It would have been nice to include this view on full screen rather than in small. I hope that you will continue to film pedalbox for next manual cars. Cheers man, and keep the good work. ;)
I owned 2 of these cars, a 2.4 diesel sportwaigon, I drove it 45000 miles in 2 years only to have it written off when someone smashed into the rear end and wrote it off. I then had a 2 litre JTS, much better than the GTA, the engine was lighter and the car didn't understeer like the GTA and it went nearly as fast. The V6 engine in the GTA is great but it sits on the front whells and understeer is awful if you hit a bend a bit too enthusiatically, same with the 2.4 diesel. I nearly bought GTA sportwagon for £5K but looked at the fuel consumption, 15.8 to the gallon on the computer thing, too rich for me!
I own an Alfa 156 GTA and have previously owned an Alfa 156 2.0 JTS. To claim that the 2.0 litre JTS is nearly as fast as the GTA is simply erroneous. The 2.0 JTS engine develops 165 hp and 152 ib-ft of torque when compared the GTA with 250 hp and 221 lb-ft. Notably, the circa 150kg weight advantage of the JTS when compared to the GTA does not offset the serious power/torque deficiency over the GTA. For example the 0-100 km/h times are 8.2s JTS and 6.3s GTA.
Alfa Romeo’s are criminally underrated
10 years from now, I believe there will be a greater conversation of why people didn't realize to pick these up when they were available
The are not.......nonsense!
Are underrated by people who doesn’t know anything about sport cars. The majority. I love Sport Car😎🍀
I've owned a 156 GTA for 15 years... It's such a joy to drive on Special occasions... Regards Jeffery

A) you obviously have no eyes or ears, and B) you've never driven one 🙂
OUUU MAMAA!
Lovely car. Aestetically spoiled by the owner though. Plus, the exhaust sound is too drony. What a pity.
