How many watts do these units consume. Need that information to decide if I want to consider one as most decent toasters use about 1,500 watts to get the job done best.
Not very specific on the "Single Slice" option. I just bought the two slice unit and both slots turn on, instead of one slot as expected. Yes, I pushed the Single Slot button and the blue light turns on.
Just purchased a four slice Cuisinart toaster from Costco. Used it twice, the left side will not stay down. Essentially, I have a 2-slice toaster now. I guess I need to return it, as I cannot see trying to take it apart after only using it twice! Not sure if this is a problem with new toasters, as the remedy to take it apart is only showing older models. Just so disappointed. I love Cuisinart and this is just not how their products usually perform. No stars -

How do you do a good cleaning? I clean out the drawers but there is so much extra stuck in the toaster and I can only shake it so much.

Push up and down manually few time it work for me. Single it's only less time few second of toasting on one side of two slices.
