Originally, due, in part, to some excessive double tracking, a number of the lower (vocal) notes sounded out of key (they did to me, anyway). However, having removed many of these tracks my vocal should sound better and more in keeping with what I was originally intending. (This is a common issue I have encountered whenever I’m recording anything that is more ‘spoken’ rather than ‘sung’, and something I should hopefully avoid in the future, now that I’ve worked out what I was doing wrong)…
Furthermore, this song is meant to sound choral, as I was intending to create a piece that is somewhat religious in nature; in other words, please bare with the operatic style, it was done intentionally…
